Very nice service guy, took time to explain what he was doing, told me how each part was holding up & what it's life expectancy should be (aprox), completely clean out my disgusting air unit outside. He was AMAZING!
HOWEVER.... second guy who accompanied him was VERY pushy about how sooner we should be replacing our unit (in looking at the air unit outside the coil only has maybe one more season at best so pay attention people- CLEAN YOUR OUTSIDE UNITS MONTHLY YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF- OUR GUY TAUGHT ME!YOU TUBE IT)anyway, this guy was like NOT wanting to give me the price of JUST the coil replacement. All he would give me was the full replacement of the air or the entire furnace/air unit 10/13k!?!.
I just want the coil!. So, these guys are awesome for the maintenance but the sales part.......wanted to sell me a 10 yr plan that would cost me 2 times the price if the unit because it came with twice a yr maintenance & all this other jazz......all I want......coil please.

Brad came out and had everything figured out in 3 minutes!!! It was a refrigerant leak that potentially could have been very hard to track down. Brad is great to work with and one of the most knowledgeable professionals in the business. Service Experts thanks for having such a quality employee who is looked up to by many of the other guys!!!

We have Thompson and Son/Service Experts come by to work on our furnace and air conditioning. It's like there was never a change of quality since you took over. Christian B. was our technician. We appreciate that he used shoe covers, that he told us exactly what he was going to do and check before he started. You are lucky to have such an outstanding technician.

STAY AWAY FROM SERVICE EXPERTS. I made the mistake of hiring Service Experts in Provo to recharge the AC in our townhome. After everything was hooked up and coolant was being put in, I was told the price was going to be $160 per pound for R22. I agreed to it, but thought it was a bit expensive at the time. Found out later that my neighbor paid $40/lbs for the same R22 coolant a day after. In addition, they also didn't pro-rate the amount, so my 1.x lbs cost me $320 plus the $89 call out that was not supposed to be charged if they did any work. I feel ripped off and will never use or recommend Service Experts. I don't have any recourse, it's just bad business. I did agree to and paid the charges, but Service Experts lack ethics. If I could give them no stars, I would.

Brad and his crew were wonderful! Easy to work with and accommodating with my schedule. They took their time explaining the service of my equipment and made sure I understood what needed to be done and gave me many options.

We chose to have our heater and ac unit replaced. They were in and out in a day. The crew was very kind and knowledgeable. They cleaned up so well that you never would have know that they were here. At the end of the job, they walked me through the whole thing and again took their time explaining and answering all of my questions. I am very happy with their service and would recommend them.

You don't get much for your money with Service Experts. Their service people are experts at hyping you into buying a new furnace and A/C before you need them. They charge a ton for parts.

We have had Service Experts service our furnaces and A/C units at two different homes during the past 15 years. They are professional and reliable. When our water heater started leaking, I called Service Experts to come check it out. The technician came on the same day and discovered the problem was the T&P valve, which he replaced. I appreciated that he didn't try to hard sell us a new water heater, even though ours is 14 years old, but instead offered a more economical solution.

Our air conditioner went out and we called multiple vendors for a bid. Service Experts price was the highest by a significant margin and more that double what it actually cost is to have the work done by an equally respectable company, using comparable products.

The Service Expert Rep suggested I replace my furnace and air conditioner to get better efficiency. His price for that was more than 5 times what it cost us to have their competitor put in a much more efficient air conditioner. Our furnace is still under warranty and has no issues. It does not need to be replaced and would have taken 20 years of greater efficiency to recoup the cost of replacing both.

For the air conditioner alone, I ended up paying thousands less than I would have paid to Service Experts and I got comparable equipment and identical warranties. Beware of their pricing. They are extremely expensive but they use the same products as everyone else.

This company wanted $225 for a flame sensor on our furnace. We googled it and it's a $17 part. We told them we would pay $60 installed and they agreed. Wow. I am appalled at how badly they tried to take advantage of us. I'm willing to pay a little more since it's a Sunday and really cold outside but that is insane. $79 just to come out to the house, $79 for the tune up $60 for the flame sensor. Buyer beware.
