We had a poor experience with American Home Shield coverage for a rental we own. Barlow plumbing was assigned the job and could not clear our sewer drain. It turns out they could have done a better job and I wrote a derogatory review. I was mainly critical of AHS for the poor service but Barlow got smeared with that review also.

Well, Mr Barlow called me within minutes of posting the review and did everything he could to correct the situation. He actually sent me money to pay for part of the plumbing service I had to rapidly hire when AHS ignored our requests for additional work. After our conversation, I wished I had called Barlow first, they would have tried hard to address the problem. Going through AHS to get that service was not a real option. In the future, I would call the company I am disappointed with. That is the lesson I learned and I would encourage anyone else to do that also. I would not hesitate to call Barlow should I have another plumbing issue. They are a good responsible local company and I am impressed with the responsiveness of the Owner.

Barlow Plumbing recently came to my rescue! I had called about a constantly running toilet, and they discovered a faulty valve in my main waterline and a leaking water heater in my attic that had already damaged the ceiling in my guest bathroom. Now I have a new tankless water heater and no leaks anywhere.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the Barlow team and really appreciated how quickly they assessed the problem and completed a big, unexpected job. I am happy to recommend Barlow Plumbing.

My family was out of hot water for 12 days while the original company assigned to us by American Home Shield was giving us the run around. Once we switched to Barlow's, they had us fixed up in 2 days flat with AMAZING customer service. They are hardworking, honest, and just a great local company. I could write an essay on how amazing they are, but if you need plumbing work, give them a call. Absolutely A++++! Cannot say enough good things. Additionally, I suggest if you have American Home Shield's home warranty, request Barlow's plumbing initially because they may otherwise assign you to another company that is less on the honest and punctual side.

Husband and i both elderly and sick. Both kitchen sinks backed up and water flooding under sink and all over floor. Called early next a.m. but crews already out for day and swamped. Owner, Lynn, got on phone, changed in the office into work clothes, brought his own car and tools from around shop and came out to see problem! He diagnosed and did all he could. Later in p.m. he called me to tell me Ed would be coming in evening after he finished up where he was! THANK YOU, THANK YOU! They did a great job and were so very kind.

How often do you write a review of your plumber? Well, this is as good as it gets. We have been customers of Barlow for over 5 years and every time we call, they are friendly, professional, and reasonable. Len goes out of his way to save you money. He replaced our water heater a few years ago the same day I called him for a very fair price! Now that's service...if you are new to the area or have been here forever call Barlow Plumbing anytime you need plumbing services and you will be relieved that you are in good hands-:)
