When you have a pipe unexpectedly blow out in your kitchen shortly after you move in, the last thing you want is an unreliable or price-gouging company that takes advantage of your situation. Fortunately, Pete from Barker and Sons responded to our call immediately, came out on a weekend (with no ""extra"" fees), gave us straight talk about the damage and costs, treated us with respect, and did an amazing repair job. Not only was Pete professional and kind, but he went above and beyond in talking to our home warranty company to advocate for us (including why the blow-out was not our fault). The price for the repair was not cheap, but it was a fair price and was actually a good deal considering Pete's expertise and his willingness to go above and beyond to help us. We will not hesitate to call this company again in the future.

Laurel and Hardy come out on a Sunday to look at my kitchen faucet. They didn't have the parts, and wanted over 500 dollars to do the work if I bought the part from Kohler. Avoid this company like the plague!

Hector, is polite and courteous. I think the price range he is quoting me is way too high. I tried to call the manager to see if I can get a good price for bundle work, I am still waiting for a call back. With that I have no plan of recommending them to any of my friends or families.

I was so impressed from the moment I called.
The ladies that I spoke with were very friendly and knowledgeable about their service area.
I am located out of their service area by a few miles but they came anyway.
When the gentlemen arrived it was in a clean and clearly marked truck. I was outside speaking with a neighbor who happens to be an elderly lady living by herself who needed a plumber also. (It can be a little intimidating calling strange men to work in you home when your alone). These guys were the the sweetest young people like grandkids!
She asked the guys if they could come over and fix a leaky faucet after they were done at my home. They said we need to call the office to schedule it.
I called and the girls fit my neighbor right in after they were done at my home.
While in my home they diagnosed my issues right away and fixed them all within 45 minutes.
They worked clean and fast which is very important to me. I will definitely call them again for future plumbing needs. And I would highly recommend this firm for any plumbing issues.

They gave me an estimate of $4600 for a repair of a leak, and told me there was an only one way to fix it- by replacing the whole main line. With an outrageous price like that, I got other estimates that were significantly lower. I went with another company that found out how to address the issue directly (there was no need to replace the main line) and it only cost me $365. Barker and Sons tried to rip me and my family off, stay away!

I'm a return customer and wish I could give a higher rating but am terribly disappointed at their responsiveness. I was very clear that it was not an emergency and whenever they had time during the week, that's when I'd make the appointment. I was surprised they could see me next day, but when I was provided the option of both morning(8-12) and afternoon (1-5) I assumed they simply weren't busy. Took time off from work and at 8am was told running late and would be closer to 10-10:30. 10 called and told 12, maybe even 12:30. Was called at noon and told they'd come between 1-5. I understand a job can take longer than expected but at the least I should have gotten a simple ""I'm sorry"". They have a team of plumbers and obviously book as many jobs as they can per day so be cautious and prepared to forfeit an entire day.
