Barker Plumbing sent someone out within the same day to help us with a clogged drain. Rob arrived early, was very professional, and worked very hard to solve our issue. We appreciate his help and their willingness to assist us quickly!

the basement wasn't draining and there was a blockage. The man who came completeLu rushed and spent $20 minutes inside and 30 mins outside in the truck. they completely took my money and ripped me off and wouldnt send someone else out here to take a look since he clearly didn't know what he was doing. Save your money and do not use them.

I Highly recommend Barker plumbing for their expertise! As an electrician I have seen first hand how Barker plumbing does a professional job every time. So that's why I called them up to come to my house. Dan stopped by and within the hour he cleared my clogged basement drain and fixed a salt bridge in my water softener. I couldn't be happier choosing Barker! Dan even helped me with other plumbing question I had!!

We unfortunately didn't have a great experience with Barker plumbing. We hired them to do the plumbing work on our kitchen and bath remodel, which included running entirely new plumbing through the house. Two pipes that they installed leaked, one into the ceiling on the first floor. In addition, I had purchased a vanity with sinks from Signature Hardware. Both sink drains leaked after they first installed them. After the second visit, they said they fixed both, but one still leaked. Two more visits and they said the sink was defective and wouldn't come out anymore to work on it. I called another plumber as a last resort and thirty minutes later, the sink no longer leaked. I'm giving 2 stars because he did give us a few hundred dollars off of our final bill, but not enough to cover all the expenses to get it right.

Had plumber come out to assess water by a toilet. It was assumed but not verified that the wax ring was the problem. Cost $ 178!!!!

WOW!!!

The next few days water still appeared by toilet. Called to have plumber come out again to fix. This time the bolts and tank gasket were replaced BUT I was charged another 1/2 hour $ 58 for the second fix !!!!

Had the cause been properly determined the first time, there would be NO need for a second visit and NO re-bill for more time on a project that should have been completed properly THE FIRST TIME.

A call to the company as met with indifference and no care at all.
Just a ""well, too bad....for you"" attitude.

Very very sad!!!!!
Contact has been deleted from my phone!! Will share story with family and friends.

A leak started coming out from our first floor bedroom ceiling below an upstairs bathroom about a month ago. Being new home owners with a 1 year Home Warranty, we submitted our plumbing issue and were given Barker Plumbing as a contractor to complete the work.

Communication (First Impression):
Barker called us around 8am on a Monday and scheduled our first appointment. I have a day job and was not able to get to the phone immediately. I called her back within the hour of missing her call and was met with attitude that I had missed her first call. Nonetheless, we scheduled to have them come out between 10 and 12 that morning. I gave her my number to call to confirm when the plumber was on the way, but made sure to explain to her that I was at work and would be home at 10. She called at 9:45 and berated me that the plumber had been waiting to get in the house, and called me irresponsible (literally said that over the phone). I arrived home at 9:55.

Services (round 1):
We had the water turned off in our house to prevent compounding damage when the plumber arrived. There was plenty of evidence of the leak in our bedroom (wet/cracked/bubbled ceiling, water in buckets on the floor). Our upstairs bathroom was completely dry and normal looking. The plumber insisted the issue was that the toilet needed to be reset. I know a bit about setting toilets and told him nicely that I didn't think that was the issue. He reset the toilet. I asked that he stay for 15-20 mins while we turn the water back on to see if the leak stopped (it takes a little time for the leak work its way up to actually dripping out of the ceiling plaster). He said no, left, and closed our request with the Home Warranty. 20 minutes later, the leak restarted and we called Barker, they said we would have to submit a new claim through the Home Warranty and essentially restart the whole process.

Communication (Round 2):
After submitting our new claim, we were again given Barker (despite asking our Home Warranty to contract someone else). Barker stood by their initial plumbers ineffective work and claimed the issue had to do with rain water coming in from the roof 2 stories above (at this point we had gone over a week without rain and very effectively correlated that, when the water is turned on we have a leak, when it's off the leak stops). Either way, they scheduled a new plumber to come out a calendar week from the time of the call. Anyone with experience living without running water can agree that that is very bad news. The receptionist was also constantly very rude on the phone despite me doing my best to be as nice as possible.

Services (Round 2):
The new plumber came out, looked at the same things the first plumber looked at, I turned on the water, and again the plumber left before seeing the leak. He said to call them once it started and they would be able to send someone right out to get to work the same day. They again claimed the issue was rain water (it had coincidentally rained that day for the first time in weeks). Rain water made no logical sense since the leak wasn't even occurring when they got there with the water off. Again, 20 minutes later, the leak started, we called, they said they closed the claim, and we had to open a 3rd claim with the Home Warranty.

Communication (Round 3):
This is where their services truly floored me. I submitted our 3rd claim with the Home Warranty and were again given Barker (again, despite pleading with them to get a new plumber). I called Barker and the owner of the company, Chris, answered. He said to turn and leave the water on so that when his plumbers get there it will be actively leaking. He said he'd call back within 15 mins with a scheduled time for that day. I turned our water on and waited for a call back, but never got one. I called an hour later and again were told they'd call back in 15 minutes. They never called. I called back again, at this point it was around 3:50pm (within business hours), and they did not answer. They never called us back (RE: Irresponsible). We had left our water running for hours, actively damaging our house, for no reason. We continued to call, were continuously promised calls back with scheduled times, and were continuously ghosted for an ENTIRE WEEK. I remained nice on every single call as I was raised to treat service workers and contractors with respect. Every communication we had with them was initiated by us. They never called us back.

We were able to get our claim switched to a new plumber after proving Barker was being delinquent with communication and scheduling. The new plumber has been great. They found and fixed the leak within a couple days. We gave Barker one last call to see if we could talk to the owner again who had ghosted us for an entire week, and were refused a conversation.

The lack of care and lack of respect for our property was astonishing. I would never recommend this company to anyone with plumbing needs.

Water heater broke and need repair. From the initial contact with Barker Plumbing they were wonderful to work with and very professional. The receptionist (sorry I forgot her name) was great an very helpful. She immediately added me to their service schedule. The service tech (Dan) came out and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what caused the issue and walked me through how the new water heater worked. While emptying the water out of the old tank he noticed that my sump pump was not working to my surprise so no water was being pump out of my house. It is suppose to rain all week and I feared that my basement might flood if the pump was broken. Dan called into his office and was able to install a new pump while he was here so I wouldn't have to wait for them to come back out. I was totally blown away with the customer service they gave. Will be them again!!!

I have a water spicket at the front of my house and it started leaking. I'm pretty handy, so I replaced the rubber washer but it still leaked. Louis came to our house to check it out and replaced the whole spicket with a new freeze proof one. He was friendly, professional, and best of all no more leaks! Definitely recommend Barker Plumbing!

You know the feeling you get when you are able to call a knowledgeable friend or family member to help you with a home issue? The confidence you feel when you know you will be taken care of? Barker Plumbing llc professionals are knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. We have had many service professionals out with our HSA and Barker Plumbing takes the cake! I will be forever grateful that they sent Chris (owner) and Louie our way! I refuse to have any other company out for our plumbing needs (I have cancelled HSA appointments and waited on the phone for an hour to ensure they only send out Barker). They have resolved several issues thoroughly (leaking toilet, water softener, fritzing kitchen sink). Their thorough work (leaking toilet) led to the discovery of a lack of insulation and a potential fire hazard! They could have easily fixed the toilet and moved on, but they wanted to understand why I was having issues with my bathroom in the first place. They leave you empowered as homeowners - educating you on the parts and services, while answering any questions. I have called their office in a moment of panic, and Chris took the call and walked me through a temporary fix. Simply put, they are just GREAT guys. Yes, you have to work with your HSA and there are stipulations that need to be followed (as in all HSA warranty claims). As an example, for our garage, the cable broke. HSA sent out a company and the parts/labor were not covered because it states in the contract it only covers electrical issues. Yes, we still had to pay the $100 deductible (its their time and $ too). Frustrating yes, but patiently speaking with the service member he was sympathetic and offered a discount. Kindness goes a long way! (And yes, I have dealt with HSA service men for other appliances that were not as honest or lacked knowledge (Ask me about my furnace issue!). I can assure you, without a doubt that Chris and his crew are one of the GREAT ones! I am thankful that HSA works with him, as finding quality service men can be challenging.) Back to Barker, while fixing our toilet Louie noticed rust in our slop sink - we discovered our softener was on its last leg. If he hadn't been as observant, we could have been dealing with a bigger issue down the road. Yes, we had to pay another deductible as it was a completely separate issue/service/appliance - but that is what our HSA requires. This family owned business truly treats you like family and will do their best to resolve your issues with honesty and integrity. Again, having Barker Plumbing in my back pocket is such a relief! Thank you Chris and Louie - You have a forever customer!

They have done a lot of work at my house and I've always been very happy. I've had a water softener, new sump pump, faucets, toilet installed, and toilet repaired. I've always been happy with their work and highly recommend them.
