Had a issue with a toilet .charge me close to 300 and stated it was water pressure from town line. Toilet kept running so two weeks later called my regular plumber and he fix it in 10 min with a new flapper. No problems now

Stay Clear!! Called to have a last minute flush of my boiler system. It was great to hear that he was able to accommodate last minute and come out same day. I was not available to be home however made arrangements to have a family member at the house. I specifically confirmed over the phone that the only service to be completed was the one discussed at the agreed upon price and I would circle back should any additional services be required.
Upon arrival, he wanted to charge me more than what was quoted stating additional services needed to be rendered (after specifically instructing him to only complete what was asked). This is when he stated to my family member that because I am a WOMAN, I do not know how to take care of my system (exact words used). My family member clearly stated and continued to reiterate that he was not authorized to okay any additional work to be completed and to simply do what was asked. This is the point he continued to get huffy puffy and incredibly disrespectful - speaking to my family member in a condescending tone as if he is some sort of child.
The level of chauvinistic, disrespectful behavior that was exhibited is unfathomable. No sir, a woman can 100% be a homeowner and fully capable and able to comprehend how her boiler works without a man such as yourself making a failed attempt to take advantage and charge her more. PSA: it is no longer 1940 - welcome to 2019.

Robert, the owner Bardi Plumbing & Heating Co. Of Verona Totally ripped us off. We would never recommend this company to anyone. We had a minor leak in our Navien Tankless Combination Water Heater which is only 3 years old. He charged us $165 to look at it and told us he needed to order a part. He came back 2 weeks later to put the part in and said he misdiagnosed it and said it was leaking from the back . Three hours later, not knowing we were getting charged by the hour, the problem was a small O Ring that was causing the leak. After two days and $625 later, for a 3 year old water heater, we are beyond disgusted how much we were ripped off. Because of his ""misdiagnosis"" we Are now out $650. Please do not use this company, they will totally screw you like they did to us.
