Called to get a price quote on installing a kitchen sink. I do not agree with how they run their business. They charge $160 per hour and the clock starts ticking when they leave their business. Who is to say they do not stop for lunch, get gas, etc. It seems suspicious to me. A normal business will come out and do a free price quote or charge you a fee to come out and do a price quote. These guys do not even come out to see the job beforehand. It is shady business practice. Once you start questioning their business practices, then they get upset with you. I did not hire them, and they lost my business for life.

They refused to come out to install a new toilet. My toilet started to leak so I ordered a new one from them and asked them to install it. The order alone took 2 weeks and the toilet took another week to arrive. Then they pushed out the installation for two weeks and cancelled at the last minute. I finally ordered a toilet from another place and had that one installed by another plumber. Still haven't heard back from Barber & Sons to schedule an install.

Awesome service!! Excellent knowledge of the plumbing industry. If you can't find it in this plumbing supply house you most likely don't need it.

Someone left a one star review, which I couldn't access to read. I cannot see how anybody could not leave 5 stars for these folks. Gary and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are experts at what they do. You can roam around in a big box store for an hour and buy a cheapo part that you hope will fit and work, or go to Barber & Sons and get what you need. If Gary says it will work, it will work.
