DO NOT use Roto Rooter. Roto Rooter wanted to charge over 3x the price that Barahona did to unclog our shower drain.

Called Yovany because shower faucet wouldn't fully turn off and leaked a bit. Got scheduled for next week so decent response. Came and replaced the shower cartridge and took care of a toilet valve. $340. 7 months later the same issue is happening. I messaged him and his first message was sorry out of warranty. His invoice didn't mention anything about warranty so I assumed (stupid of me) a normal 1 year warranty. He said no 3 months. Then I go to the website and it says 6 months. So even he doesn't know his own warranty. I've even offered to pay for the part but no response from him. The repair lasted 7 months - absolutely unacceptable. My advice - find a plumber who actually guarantees their work. It might be fine and a bit cheaper at first but if it breaks you've now spent double because he doesn't back his work.

We have used this plumber for a couple of jobs, 1 major and 1 small. The major was a leak in the water pipes supplying the upstairs bath. This could have collapsed the ceiling in the living room if we had not noticed the leak quickly. He was able to come out right away, found several other leaks (9 additional) in the same plumbing line and was able to repair everything without ripping out the entire ceiling. He was very conscious of doing as little tear out as possible. This kept the debris down as well as reducing the cost to repair and repaint the ceiling. The second job he completed for us was smaller, sink replacement. Again very prompt and professional at a reasonable price. He wore boot covers, without being asked and made sure not to make more of a mess than was absolutely necessary to get the job done. This consideration goes a long way in my book and is greatly appreciated. I would recommend Barahona without hesitation.

We've used barahona plumbing twice to help with leak issues in our bathroom - under the sink and leaky pipes in the walls. He was super helpful, responsive, and professional. I appreciated his explanation of the issues and the details he provided regarding the fixes. We've had other plumbing companies out to our house previously who have left behind messy areas - but not barahona. :) the prices were very reasonable, and we liked that he was able to provide a very rough estimate over the phone. The 2nd time we called for help, he was at our house within an hour (on a friday!). We would not hesitate to recommend this company to others as he will be our go-to guy for plumbing issues.
