These guys are great, incredibly responsive, flexible and easy to deal with - especially remotely. They fix a leaking water main hook up and a leaky faucet hook up. They got back to us immediately, estimated the job accurately, and quickly sent someone out to do the work as we started getting some snow. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Two plumbers from Barack, pronounced ""Bearack"" plumbing came to the cabin and did a fantastic job educating me about the various water mains around my property and how to turn them on and off. I had a leak over the Winter and thought it might be a burst pipe. They dispatched the city and a city rep came out to turn the water on from the street. Then they isolated the problem and it wasn't a burst pipe after all, but a problematic toilet filler line that had burst underground. They fixed the line and also placed a wax seal on the toilet and bolted it down, which apparently had been taken off when I had flooring put in a couple years ago and wasn't replaced correctly. They were cheerful and both are locals in South Lake Tahoe area. I highly recommend them and want to hire them again for more upgrades on the property.

Todd helped us out when our gas meter got sheared off the side of our house by falling ice. He had to replace the gas line and was very creative and understood our ungency since our house was without heat for a month. He did a great job, very nice to work with. He's in big demand so get him while you can!!!

I got a bid from a very reputable long standing plumber for a new water heater. Everyone I talked to, technician and woman on phone was very friendly and good communication. I had recently been with my brother in LA who had a new one installed, so I knew about what the cost is. I thought their price was a bit high even for a resort town, and my friend said to call Cory. He was $700 cheaper! He came out with an associate and the two of them had it installed within a few hours. Quick, professional, great price. This was a few years before Covid, and he still has the same team. I'm not a computer person sorry I didn't write this sooner! Thank you Cory!

My wife messaged Barack Plumbing on Yelp at ~6 am on Friday and by ~6 pm the same day Todd and Paul had restored our water and things were back to normal.

Todd was quick to reply to our message (less than 10 min), we were on the phone within the hour, and soon enough they (Todd and his partner, Paul) were on the scene to help. They found a cracked valve but were able to get the parts and fix the issue in short order.

Their quality of work was great, their customer service even better.

They were quick, kind, and knowledgeable. Both Todd and Paul clearly explained what they suspected had happened, how they planned to fix it, and shared some helpful advice to mitigate this from happening in the future.

Highly recommend, we will most definitely be working with them again in the future.

I couldn't light my water heater pilot and contacted Barack Plumbing & General Contracting. They were able to come by to diagnose the problem within 30 minutes. It was determined that I needed to replace the whole unit which they executed wonderfully. They were professional, friendly, and efficient. They explained what they were doing, answered all my questions and brought everything up to code. I will definitely be calling them with any future needs.

Contacted Barack Plumbing to fix a water leak in my bathtub, and also a leak in my gas key valve for my fireplace. They fixed the water leak as well as the gas leak the next day morning. They are easy to work with, friendly, efficient, honest, and very knowledgeable. Love, love, love these guys! I highly recommend them for whatever plumbing needs you may have!

Here's the deal - Barack Plumbing just killed it!
Todd and Paul did such an incredible job on our whole bathroom remodel that we have a hard time finding the words to describe the unbelievable experience we've had with this team.
The job consisted of a total re- framing (we have a mobile home), many new electrical circuits, all new plumbing, new insulation, tiles everywhere (we love tiles), new exhaust system (no fan before), heated floor, lights, fixtures - everything.
* They're honest and have integrity. You can Feel comfortable bringing in these guys to your home.
* The work is impeccable and meticulous and creative.
* The attention to detail is beyond expectation
* They make sure the quality of materials and workmanship is beyond standard
* They work hard!!
* They work smart!!
* They're on time!!
* They work well with you, they listen, and they discuss with you - your success is their success (sounds stupid, but they actually live this)
* They prepare well so your work gets done systematically
* They clean up!!! - They CLEAN UP!!
* They make sure you're comfortable - This is a BIG deal, and they get it!!

Paul was able to come out within a couple of days of calling, and although the faucet could not be repaired, he picked up a faucet for us, sent us a picture to make sure it was okay and installed it, all in the same day! He also made sure our outside water shutoff and drain was working. All in all, a great job!

After calling 2 plummer company with no call back they responded the same day. They stated the numerous new building preventing immediate response but promised to get to use by next week. Our leak was not an emergency so we were good with that. More to come once our service is completed.
