Our 20-something year old garbage disposal decided to break. No idea why. We don't put eggshells down it, have omitted dumping grease and oils down it altogether, and we only use cold water when running the motor. So why would it turn against us? Probably better that it decided to quit. Nobody likes a temperamental garbage disposal in their home.
On the day I discovered our garbage disposal no longer wanted to live here, I left a voice mail message for Jason about our needed repair. He called back the same day and the service call was scheduled for this morning.This is the 3rd time we've used his services.
As promised, Jason called ahead of time to advise us he was on his way and showed up on time. He walked in carrying the new disposal unit and had installed and running within 10-15 minutes or so. He reminded me about the disposal reset button and when to use it, and about the special tool that comes with it use if the unit jams. Most importantly, he left the owner's manual with the optional warranty registration card.
I tell ya, it is SO comforting to know that we have a plumber we can rely on and does great work quickly. I think of Jason as our ""family"" plumber, the one we'll always call. And guess what? I found him through Yelp.
