I called Banecks to come out and look at a leaky faucet. After many missed appointments Chris stopped by. He said to buy another faucet in which I did. While removing the previous faucet he broke the stone countertop. After I scheduled a repair to fix the problem and many days later, Chris did pay for the damage.

Called Chris to clean out a blocked sewer line. Sadly, this was the day of a family funeral and we were hosting the family for a gathering after the funeral. As luck would have it the blockage happened the morning of the funeral.
He promised he would be there in one to two hours, so I hired him for the job, but did not show up (and we had about 20 people at the house with no toilets, sinks, etc). I called him four hours after the original call asking where he was, and he apologized profusely and said he'd be there in 15 minutes. He did show up about 25 minutes later.
He then worked for about an hour, then left saying he needed an attachment and would be right back (he said he's just ""eight minutes away""). 35-40 minutes later he's still not back so I call him, and he says he's ""getting gas"" for his truck at the nearby grocery store.
Long story short, he worked for another hour but was not able to clear the clog. He said the clog was out under the street so he'd have to call the city to see if it was on their line or ours. While he was doing the snake I told him it sounded like it was going through the lines under our bathroom, and not outside as he intended. He said I was just hearing an ""echo"". Nope.
He then promised the city would show up the next morning and he would return at 11:00. So we went to the house, and waited then waited some more. See a trend here with the communication?
Hired another company who claimed he did do a good job of cleaning the lines IN the house, and they were able to clear it in 45 minutes. My main reason for the two stars? Lack of communication. I don't know for sure if he was doing things incorrectly but do know the other guys did not have an issue.

Chris and his crew are absolutely the most honorable people we have EVER dealt with! As a small Lafayette preschool with a major clogged drain (out into the yard) we were in dire straights. We called 15 plumbers and NO one would come to help us the next day! Chris called us back in the evening, came by in the morning and worked all day on the drain system. When he says he won't let a drain get the best of him he means it! Words to describe inclue: respectful, responsive, diligent, genuine, caring and very reasonable. He is clearly committed to the community of Lafayette and it's residents!! Thank you Chris!

I had a mainline back up that was flooding my laundry room so I called Baneck's on a weekend and they promptly took my call and sent a tech to my house within hours. That was great.
When the tech got there, I showed him to the two cleanouts in the sidewalk that would access the entire mainline and he snaked them but said that he found nothing blocking them. He then went to my bathtub to try from there (even though I pointed out that the flooding was in the laundry room stack, indicating to me that the clog was downstream from that spot). He fed the snake/cutter into the bathtub but had trouble getting past the old, copper p-trap. He persisted at this for about 15 minutes until I walked downstairs and saw the overflow cap from the drain/waste/vent on the floor (it had been knocked off from the rattling of the snake). The cutter also apparently cut through the copper pipe after 15 minutes of rotating against the copper.
Being stymied, he called in Chris who came quickly and explained that the clog was downstream of the overflow (as I had said) and removed the laundry drain hose, then tested the flow at the overflow laundry stack. All was flowing now, they fixed the clog. Great.
However, then neglected to replace the laundry hose (which I didn't notice) Not great, and then offered to repair the damaged copper pipe (that was working perfectly before they got there) for $375! Not great. The overflow that they knocked off is still not attached. Not great. The tub was full of debris, screws, dirt and plumbing parts. Not great.
Finally, when I was in a meeting today, my wife ran a load of laundry which discharged all of the water all over the laundry room soaking the floor, machines, my modem and router electronics as well as baskets of clothes in the room. Not great.
My wife was in tears, I was still in a meeting so I suggested that she call Chris since he responded so quickly to me yesterday but she received nothing, even after several hours. So, they fixed the clog, which accounts for the second star, but I seriously doubt that's even worth it. It should probably be one star.
Oh, and after all of this damage to my home and property? They charged me $200. Definitely not great.

Before you hire a big shot overcharging chain company, give these guys a call. Chris was professional, on time, efficient affordable and resourceful. Look no further! Highly recommended!!

It's the weekend and I have family coming in town for graduation... and of course a bathroom gets backed up... I saw nice reviews about this company so I called. Chris came out right away fixed my clog and cleaned my bathroom floor!!! Who does that!!!??? And last minute on a weekend!!!??? Very nice and professional. I highly recommend this company, and be sure to ask for Chris.

First Chris was the only one to answer the phone on a Sunday morning. I called 2 other locals and I really just wanted a call to say ""I got it and I can come...whenever""
Nothing.
So thanks Chris for easing my mind, getting rid of my anxiety and fixing the problem!
Chris went above and beyond my expectations!
I highly recommend
