Doug is the complete bundle. Competent Plumber, personable, reliable, honest, not overpriced (like a lot of them are) Does great job for a fair price! We just had him replace our tub faucets, sink, and toilet (replaced the original for an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) model higher off the floor as the old one was too low for me as I have health issues) what a difference that made! He's coming back to install a water pressure regulator as my home water pressure feed is too high. If you have an urgent problem he always tries to work you into his schedule as he has with the water pressure issue. Our bathroom looks great, everything works flawlessly, and my wife loves it!, I've had several Plumbers one or 2 did shoddy work, overcharged, etc. Not this guy. Give him a try!

I called Doug and left a message about the two plumbing issues that I was facing. Within one hour, he called me back and had me describe in detail everything that was wrong and listened very attentively. He walked me step-by-step over the phone on how to troubleshoot the two issues and to my disbelief we were able to fix both of the problems! He did not charge me a dime for the almost 20 minute long phone call and just said that he was happy that he could help. He did not have to help me over the phone, he could have just make a service appointment and charged me to fix the issue like 99% of the other plumbers would, but Doug is a level above that. I would HIGHLY recommend using his services.

Absolutely the best! Used Bamford Plumbing on several occassions! Replaced a toilet, cleaned out a clogged drain pipe, cleared a clogged french drain in basement, ran new cold & hot water lines to basement bathroom! Stayed til job was complete. Fantastic & friendly attitude! Highly recommended!

Had a hot water issue. Called Bamford and they came out the same day, replaced the thermostats in my water heater, and had me running hot water the same day. Very good work, good service, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

These guys are great. Had a toilet emergency and Doug cleared his schedule to come out the next day. His prices were lower than the other quotes I got and he did the job very quickly. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in consideration.

Once he even recommended other companies to me when a job was too big for his scope of work, then called me back a few days later to check on my status. Great guy!

We had a wonderful experience with Doug from Bamford plumbing. We just moved into our home and wanted to covert our electric range to a gas range. This meant we needed a competent plumber to run a line from the gas pipe in our basement to the kitchen. Out of all the plumbers I called (with good reviews) Doug was the only one able to come do a free estimate the same day. Took 10 minutes and he gave a pretty close estimate verbally but then also sent a formal estimate via email soon after. I have to say that his communication was on point. From keeping us in the loop on pulling the county permit to starting the work to when it can be finished, he was very clear and honest. I have never had a plumber communicate so well. His work was clean and well done. He pulled the permit on a Friday, finished the preinspection setup on Saturday, passed the inspection on Monday and we were cooking food on Monday night. For those that don't know, this is phenomenal because it can sometimes take days or weeks to finish this job. We chose Doug because he was able to do it the earliest. But in the end, he did a great job, and was very reasonably priced. I will be sure to call him for all my plumbing needs. Honest, competent, fast, master plumber and gas fitter!

Doug just left our home. Our pilot light for our hot water heater wouldn't come on, but not only did Doug fix it, he showed us how to do it for ourselves the next time it goes out. He was a really, really, really nice guy. Totally helpful and allowed us to show him some other things around the house and in the yard that we were concerned about plumbing and drainage wise. He took time with us and didn't seem terribly rushed like some plumbing and heating folks. He was really knowledgeable and discussed several remedies with us concerning various drainage issues on our property. He's a really cool guy. He arrived really quick (shortly after we called him), and he did what he said he'd do. Dependability and reliability means a lot to us, so he's our new guy now for drainage, plumbing, heating, and cooling type issues. Try him. You won't be disappointed.
