Bamfield is fantastic!! I would highly recommend them. Doug is very professional prompt and knowledgeable. I've tried two other companies and wasn't satisfied. I will always call Bamfield. Doug even came out on a Sat when we had a leak. He is honest and fair.

I called to get a plumber to my house because our toilets were backing up badly and flooding. This was a job that the plunger was powerless to fix. I first called ""Len the plumber,"" but cancelled after they lost my appointment and never gave me a call. I called Bamford after reading the reviews here on yelp.

I called and immediately spoke to Doug's wife. She was very very nice and set up an appointment right away. He came out tonight and took a lot of time to educate my husband and I regarding our plumbing, pipes and toilets. We are not the most ""handy"" people, so it was really helpful.

We coud tell that Doug really knew what he was doing and actually took pride in showing us how everything worked. He also could have gouged us on the price (honestly, we would have paid anything to keep our basement from flooding), but he didn't.

I will call Doug every time I have a plumbing concern from now on and I will recommend him to all my friends! Go with Bamford, you will NOT be disappointed!

We tried unclogging the drain in our house ourselves, even renting an auger from the home store, but we still had a clog, called Doug (who did a wonderful job in our new kitchen ) and he came out that afternoon and got the clog. He pulled out tree roots and lots of gunk. So glad we called him again. He is professional and courteous, will definitely call him again. Just hope we don't need to call too soon.

Just had Doug Bamford do some work at a rental property I own. He was reliable, honest and reasonably priced. I see no reason to shop around for other plumbers after this excellent (and rare when it comes to some tradesmen!) experience.

Doug is top notch, and really helped me out of a jam. I came home from work to find water dripping from my ceiling--one of my pipes had sprung a leak. He headed over to help me although it was late in the evening., stopped the leak, and came back the next morning to do a great repair on the pipes. Knowledgeable, friendly, and honest--you can't go wrong w/Bamford.

Doug was a lifesaver! I had a clogged toilet, a 2nd slow flushing toilet, and a shower leak from the water regulating knob. Of course all this was happening just a few hours before the arrival of guests. The first company I called was a no-show, so I was in a panic.

Doug was able to come the same day, actually arriving a few minutes early. He expertly fixed all the problems, was quick and very neat. He even put on shoe covers so as not to track on the light colored carpet. He's very good at explaining problems and fixes.

I would definitely call Bamford Plumbing & Heating again!
