Called Bamford based on Yelp reviews. They talked me through issue, gave me advice on how I could easily fix problem myself, and I managed it for $10 in parts. They could have made a visit and simple repair and charged me for visit- their honesty and helpfulness were exemplary. Will call them first next time!

Doug and his wife provide exceptional service at extremely reasonable price. I was unable to clear a clog in my kitchen drain. Not only did they clear the line, but they also secured loose plumbing so as to prevent potential future problems. Thank you.

Call Doug for plumbing issues! I called Bamford Plumbing to get a second opinion on a couple minor issues that Len the Plumber told me would be several hundred dollars to fix and it just didnt sound right. Doug came out to do a free estimate and was great, gave his professional opinion and saved me from spending a ton of money unnecessarily because this other plumbing company was trying to turn a routine issue into an emergency. I really appreciate an honest assessment, straight talk, and will definitely be calling Doug again when we're ready to make the upgrades he suggested. Thanks Doug!

Really great service. They provided reasonable service windows and frequent updates if Doug was running a little late. They also provided a 'heads up' call about 10 minutes before he arrived. Both really appreciated.

We had a little mis-communication at first, but Doug went out of his way to make it right.

Bamfield is fantastic!! I would highly recommend them. Doug is very professional prompt and knowledgeable. I've tried two other companies and wasn't satisfied. I will always call Bamfield. Doug even came out on a Sat when we had a leak. He is honest and fair.

I called to get a plumber to my house because our toilets were backing up badly and flooding. This was a job that the plunger was powerless to fix. I first called ""Len the plumber,"" but cancelled after they lost my appointment and never gave me a call. I called Bamford after reading the reviews here on yelp.

I called and immediately spoke to Doug's wife. She was very very nice and set up an appointment right away. He came out tonight and took a lot of time to educate my husband and I regarding our plumbing, pipes and toilets. We are not the most ""handy"" people, so it was really helpful.

We coud tell that Doug really knew what he was doing and actually took pride in showing us how everything worked. He also could have gouged us on the price (honestly, we would have paid anything to keep our basement from flooding), but he didn't.

I will call Doug every time I have a plumbing concern from now on and I will recommend him to all my friends! Go with Bamford, you will NOT be disappointed!

We tried unclogging the drain in our house ourselves, even renting an auger from the home store, but we still had a clog, called Doug (who did a wonderful job in our new kitchen ) and he came out that afternoon and got the clog. He pulled out tree roots and lots of gunk. So glad we called him again. He is professional and courteous, will definitely call him again. Just hope we don't need to call too soon.
