Ballard has done my HVAC and plumbing for years. Had them out today for a leaky toilet and sink leak. Came out and fixed them in about an hour.
Reasonable cost. I definitely consider Ballard my ""go to"" guys.

When the 17-year-old AC unit that I purchased from Avis Heating/AC, now Service Champions quit working I called them for repair. They diagnosed the problem as a compressor fan issue and estimated the cost of repair as $1550.00. However, they said the fan motor was unavailable for a week and a half. They suggested I consider purchasing a new unit. But refused to provide an estimate.

I called Ballard Heating/AC for a second opinion. They also diagnosed the problem as a compressor fan issue. They had the part on their truck and got my AC up and running for the same $1550 and they also suggested I consider purchasing a new unit. They provided me with a quote on the spot which was Monday and promised installation the following Wednesday and offered to deduct the $1550.00 from the cost of the new unit. Thereby allowing me air conditioning in the interim. I now have a new Carrier AC unit in my home.

This is my first time using Ballard Heating/AC and replacing an aging AC unit in the middle of summer is a major expense and issue. I found them to be competitively priced, very accommodating, and especially upfront and honest, promises were made and promises were kept.

Hired Ballard to perform a tune up. They tried to sell me two new furnaces. One week later both furnaces went out. What are the chances of that? I would be very leery of dealing with this company.

I do not recommend this business if you need repairs on your AC/Heat. I've had them come over at least 6 times and has spent over $2500 trying to repair my heater. It would work for a while and then stop. They finally recommended that i replace the original Amana ac/heat unit that has been on my house for 50 years with a new unit for $8000. I didnt do it and just bought space heaters for winter instead. But listen to this. I went up to a HVAC contractor at my work to ask him if I should replace my unit. He said dont do it, dont let them talk you into buying anything and that whoever told me to is full of BS. Finally a relative recommended another company to look into my problem. This repairman fixes my heater. He tells me my problem was that a ground wire wasnt connected. He even cleaned the drain pipe. Cost $75.00. After 3 years my heater works. Some businesses will exploit your ignorance and string you along for unnecessary repairs and act professional and courteous about it.

Don't take this as a bad review as I have not used them, I tried to use them though, this is more of note to management. Off of suggestions and reviews I tried to hire Ballard, I called to set up an appointment was told they were very busy it would take a few days to get a tech out they would call me back with date and time, hey its July, I understand totally, cple days no call, called back said they'd call me back, again no call back, I went with another company, AC all fixed up thank goodness. I heard great things about Ballard and wish them the best, but to say we will call you back, then don't, well that just hurts the company.

We have used Ballard for years at our business and we have been very satisfied with them. I recently replaced my home HVAC and needed it done quickly to get our system replaced before a tight deadline. They were responsive, reasonably priced, followed through with everything they said and finished early. On top of that they are friendly, honest and very helpful. I can't say good enough things about these guys.

We have used Ballard a number of times for our plumbing and HVAC needs over the last 15 years. Recently we contacted them to repair a leak and we were pleased with professional customer service in scheduling the repair. They were also responsive to our request for an estimate and how the billing for the services would occur. Jordan, the technician, contacted us in advance of his arrival, which we appreciated. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He also took time to respond to my request to better understand the various water shutoff valves we have to both the house and the outside irrigation system. The final bill was reasonable and within their estimate.

This was my first time using this local company but it will certainly will not be my last time. I was really impressed how affordable their prices were. I just made an appointment and it was that simple an experienced tech came out to my home and quickly assed the problem with one of my irrigation valves in my front lawn. Justin was professional, knowledgeable and courteous but most importantly he was efficient. I was over all very satisfied on what I spent and the quality of customer service I received from the beginning to the end.

Had Ballard install a new AC system Last summer, great job installing the new AC system, was quick and has been blowing cold air since. Had them come out this summer to do some do some maintanence and upkeep this summer and they came out promptly on two different occasions to problem solve. Highly recommend Ballard, Justin and Brian are great.

Today I had Justin come out and he fixed my valves for my washer and also fixed the water valve in front of my house. Very pleased with Justin explained what he was going to do and what he did again I will be calling him back for my other water valve needs thank you. Great Job Justin!!!
