This place is perfect for your rough plumbing needs, more of a b2b shop like for water heaters and everything that goes behind the walls.

Know what you need and communicate that to them and they will have it.

If you don't know exactly what you need then it's kind of hard to shop here . I been her 30 times in the last two years and finally understand how to navigate this shop.

Nice people, good prices. I had to replace the P-Trap in my kitchen. I decided it was time to replace the same in my bathrooms. I went back to Crown Hardware where I bought the first P-Trap and they were out of stock. I went to Balboa and got two sets for the price I paid for one at Crown. Next time I will go to Balboa Plumbing first. Thanks.

I'm so sick of crummy Ace Hardware plumbing parts that disintegrate in a year or two, so I stopped by this place near my daughter's middle school. They had exactly what I needed (a p trap kit), the price was right, and the quality is definitely a step above the dreaded Ace.

Service was quick and friendly. FYI, I think there was a $10 minimum on credit card payments, so bring cash if you just need a washer or two.

Balboa Plumbing is a family business. They have everything that you would need from a plumbing perspective and then some. Their prices are cheap and they are super friendly. My one word of advice is they are at their busiest from 7:30-9:00 in the morning so if you are in a hurry come at other times. This business reminds me very much of the old San Francisco. Long before big box stores were 30 minutes away and when people actually cared about providing good service and being kind.

Convenient neighborhood plumbing and electrical supply store. Old school. No decorative retail displays just all the stuff you need. Take in your rubber washers from who knows when and they'll sell you another one cheap. Helpful pleasant staff.

Called around a few places to find someone who would cut some pipes and was referred here... got 4 pieces pf pipe cut for 5$ and I couldn't be happier.

It would have taken me hours and hours to try and use a hacksaw and they got me finished in a few minutes.
