Terrible, when Benjamin was working for Balanced Comfort, he was the honest and very Sincere technician, the guy that came to service our unit he was trying to upsell and not paying attention to service the unit ( last month) I was not very happy with his service coz he didn't do the service the way I was expecting.

I would give a 0 if I could at this point. I had a brand new Bosch heat pump installed under their ""premium"" package. It is 3 tons, 18 SEER on my 1,062 sqft home. Since installation I noticed the AC could not get to the desired temperature and hold it there. Days over 95 the unit began switching between blowing cool air, not cold and warm air. My house could not get below 80. A tech came out, switched off the energy settings on the thermostat, but could not find anything else wrong. He changed the cooling set point on the unit further to see if it would help. He told my boyfriend, ""it's just hot as hell"". Later that day, unit was still cycling between warm and cool. Another tech came out, he was very kind and understanding, spent hours in the house, replaced the thermostat and had me turn off the additional room sensors I bought since they were adjusting the overall average temp of the house to higher to see if it would help. The vents were tested and there was inconsistent and imbalanced cooling coming from them. My ""premium"" package included the smart ac system, which was not installed on the original install date. I am waiting for that to be installed. It is suppose to alert them and me for any issues with the vents. Yesterday the temp in by house was 77-80 again, but the bedrooms where the airflow is horrible were much hotter. My 20-30 year old unit cooled better and cost less than the new unit. My pge bills were 3-400 with the old unit and now are over 600 because the unit will not shut off. They took advantage of me, as a woman, charged me a fortune and delivered a horrible package. Shame on you, Balanced Comfort! I paid $26,000 to line your owners pockets while I am now trying to figure out how to cool my home other ways and look into how to get your issues corrected!

I had them out for mine and they did an excellent job cleaning and checking that I'm good to go for this crazy Fresno heat. They're offering FREE air conditioning maintenance for teachers (first responders, seniors, military, and Fresno State grads too)! Even checked my air purifier bulb for me to help keep the air inside clean. So friendly and super knowledgeable. Highly recommend :)

Excellent service. I am disabled and have several health issues. AC stopped blowing cold. I was looking at having to go to a hotel. Balance Comfort was able to squeeze me in. AC repaired and blowing cold within 2 hours of my call. Repair was reasonable considering parts needed replacing and the unit is 20 years old. Technician took pictures of everything before and after.

Stay Away From Balanced Comfort! I was quoted $1086.53 to replace the blower motor in my A/C. Repair was completed then told price was increased by $140 due a bracket that was needed (not broken, was just part of the original. Repair man called boss and I was told Tough Luck. Stay away from these crooks

Won't give a quote based on a simple valve insert on an existing line. They want to come out and charge you whatever they want.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not waste your time. I was having issues with my AC unit and called a few local companies. Balanced comforts was able to come out the very next morning, that should have been my first red flag. After spending several hours diagnosing my AC unit I was told my repairs would cost several thousands of dollars and my entire until should be replaced. I decided to call another local company for a second opinion. Second company had my AC fixed and up and running within 30minutes. Oh and for an 1/8th of the cost. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from these guys!

Our AC was having issues and we contacted this company on Friday and we had someone scheduled to come out Sunday. Given that it was a weekend, I was very thankful for the turnaround time. The tech that came out was nice and respectful so I have nothing negative to say about the workers.

However, the tech did not have the part on his truck and after contacting other companies, realized that this should have been something very standard for them to carry. The tech was desperately trying to get me rescheduled ASAP as we wanted to move forward. I called Balanced Comfort myself and was told that I would have to wait until Monday to get rescheduled as that individual was gone for the day and that someone would call me Monday morning. Nobody ever called me. Him not having this part was a blessing in disguise.

We contacted a competitor that same afternoon and had them scheduled to come out this morning by 9am. To our surprise, this is when we learned how severely overcharged we were. Balanced Comfort's quote was 5 times higher than other competitors! This was not from 1 but 2 difference HVAC repair providers. I am so upset that I even paid the $99 membership/diagnostic fee but lesson learned. We saved over $1000 going with someone else who we trust. What is even more unfortunate is that we were looking to do other home repairs with this company which we will no longer do.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company and highly encourage others to shop around. Even if it means you suffering without AC for a few more days.

IF YOU ARE MILITARY DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.
Was really hoping to like this company. Their website states that their membership is free for military. So I gave them a try. It's been 3 weeks and they keep rescheduling my service apt. Always giving me same excuse that their employees call out. For a company that says they support military they aren't very good at showing.

I received a call from Aaron the owner after posting my review. He was very concerned for my issue and was willing to make it right. I decided to give them another try and do not regret it. The technician was very informative and helpful. Walked me through everything that was done. Will definitely be staying with them.

I have been a customer for over 2 yrs & was thrilled when they added plumbing to their heating/cooling business!
Zack came out to replace my 3 piece faucet & found that the matching sink he ordered for me had a wrong part in it so he had diligently took the middle piece off & had replaced all the plumbing under the sink! He politely explained how he would have to come back & cleaned up after himself before he left!
He came back today with his friendly, easygoing manner & brought his young helper to fix my leaking tankless water heater that was leaking from the roof! They fixed the leak which was under warranty & he patiently supervised Joseph, his assistant!
I asked for Zack specifically to come back & finish the sink & because I felt safe with him in my home as I'm elderly!
I would highly recommend this company! I
Also pay for them to come out & service my hvac twice a year!
