They did a great job from start to finish. I called them they came out and explained things to me and gave me good information to make a good decision on what repairs are needed and upgrades if I wanted to. Through the whole process they answered all my questions and were very helpful on the replaster, tile, testing lines, and start up after repairs were done. They were very reasonable on price and came in on the estimate with no extra charge. The guys that came out all helpful with questions and great to work with very respectful and knowledgeable. They didn't stretch it out they came in gave estimate I gave go ahead and they did the job and then some. They were on time every day and cleaned up job site each day. I would recommend them to anyone wanting anything done on a pool or around the pool!!!

Our pool pump needed to be replaced. I contacted Bakersfield Pool Equipment & Remodeling through Yelp for some information. I received a message back within minutes from one of the owners. We were very pleased with the info & quote we got, pricing was 10% less than our original plans which was very helpful. Arrangements were made to have the work completed the following morning, a very quick turnaround which worked perfect for us as we were headed out of town for a few days. I received all of the information I needed w/out having to ask (arrival time, payment, length of time involved). The crew showed up the following morning on time. Crew was kind and helpful. The new pool pump was installed. No clean-up was needed on my part which is always a plus. I had a few follow up questions after the job was completed and was called back by one of the owners who answered my questions thoroughly. Thanks for the timeliness, price savings, and great communication. Looking fwd to them managing my pool service moving fwd. Would def recommend.

Michael and William did a great job on our pool and spa! They drained, chlorine washed, regrouted pool tile, replaced spa tile and fixed pool remote. Started on Monday and done by Friday. Very easy to work with and always easy to get a hold of. Our pool is beautiful again!

What an outstanding company! Boy was I in a pinch. One of the biggest days of my life was coming as I just graduated college with BA and my pool light went out. Everyone should know that pool lights are not a money maker for pool companies and all pool companies are very busy including this one with high dollar priority projects with deadlines. Well this company made time some how, came and put in a light for me. I would have had a dark pool for my party and honestly that would have ruined my party. This company saved me no doubt just the day before the party! Need I also mention that the shortage of lights are scarce but this company some how found a light for me. On top of that I had an additional problem that the company was kind enough to guide me and come out and look the very next morning to make sure my pool was straight for my party.

Mike and his team did an excellent job. I changed my mind a few times along the way, and each time he was gracious and helpful. The team was always on time and the whole job was completed in a couple weeks. There were some setbacks due to rain, but that's to be expected. We had them re-plaster, add a handrail, new skimmer, filter, and light. The pool looks beautiful.

Super happy I went with Bakersfield Pool & Equipment. They did an amazing job with the tile and plaster for the pool and spa. They installed all new equipment (Pentair VS Pump, Pentair 420 filter, Pentair 5G LED color lights for both pool/spa), and a skimmer.

I had 5 estimates for the pool and equipment from various companies in town. BPE has the best prices when it comes to pool in town. All of guys who came to do work on the pool and equipment educated me along the way if Michael wasn't here on do's and don'ts.

I highly recommend them. I'll have them back out when I'm ready to install a heater and salt system.
