OMG!! I've been having pipe problems for awhile. I found Bakersfield Plumbing and based on reviews, decided to give them a try. So thankful I did! Janie in the office kept in constant communication with me. Ed came out (early even!) and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. Within the hour, they had a camera out there and located the problem. Then they brought out a jetter and was able to flush out the debris blocking my pipe. They saved me $2000 and a broken up driveway by being creative! What a great experience. They've got a customer for life!

I was dreading my repair bill as the house is 60 plus years old and the leak was under the concrete slab. Had RayTec isolate and Jason was there the next day to repair. This is a Christmas miracle! First, I give God all the glory of what happened today and a big thanks to Bakersfield Plumbing Co for being quick and professional on replacing my water heater. From beginning to end i.e. discovering the leak to installation, was about three hours! Randy took care of business and explained how to care for the new water heater. Greatly recommend! We had a problem with our gas hot water heater. It had last been replaced in 2006. A call to Bakersfield Plumbing in the morning resulted in a house call within a three hours and by mid-afternoon the hot water heater was replaced, and the new one works great. Very good service by a very likable serviceman. Would highly recommend.

So impressed with the re-pipe that Randy and Victor did. They were friendly and professional and very clean.
UPDATE Make sure to get the sub contractor proposal in writing! What was quoted by Bakersfield Plumbing for the drywall/paint ended up being $800 higher than what was on the original proposal.

I recently called this company to help my mother with stopped up plumbing. I was told 2 prices on the phone for the specific job to be done. Expecting to pay the higher price for what the job entailed, they charged my mother 50% more than the higher amount. I questioned the charge and was told ""don't worry, I'm not trying to get you"". I told him I was questioning the charge being different than what I was quoted on the phone and because mom is on a fixed budget and I need to keep an eye on things for her. I called their office the next day, on a Friday, and was told I would get a call back Monday. Not hearing anything back I called them. They had not looked into it yet. I asked for the boss to call me back, that didn't happen, the lady in the office called me back. When I got a call back I was told that they were charging her for the hour it took (which included 10 minutes for writing up the invoice), and half an hour for drive time. I was not told about this drive time before hand. The service man said he started the drive time 15 minutes before he got there, yet he charge a half an hour of time. I was told he didn't charge for gas, tools, the time it took him to get to his next stop... really ?... I would warn anyone to be sure you get a written estimate before you agree to anything and before you hire this company, If they will take advantage of an elderly lady on a fixed income, what else might they do.

The following replaces my concern regarding an exhorbitant fee.

On 4/11, much to my surprise, because I had made many attempts to speak to the owner regarding the bill without any response, I received a check apparently acknowledging my complaint in the amount of $98.00. I still have no idea why the owner never contacted me; as when disputes are amicably settled, the parties are generally comfortable to utilize that company's service as previous fees (for the past 10 years) have been quite satisfactory. However, I still maintain this particular plumber/employee really didn't know what he was up against, hence the exorbitant bill. Note: there is not, nor has been in the past, anything wrong or faulty with their work performed. Ultimately, the partial refund is appreciated. The bottom line, therefor, DO consider Bakersfield Plumbing Company for any plumbing needs, without hesitation or concern about the job. You won't be disappointed in the quality of the work.

Called them out on a Saturday and thought this was a great company since they were working normal hours on Saturday. The technician had trouble clearing the drain and said that he would be back on Monday with a camera to examine the line. Monday came and no contact so I called they refused to come out and use a camera. I guess they only want easy jobs not jobs that actually take skill and expertise in the work. Also not LGBT friendly do not recommend avoid at all cost.

These guys are great! They have all the newest high tech tools, skilled workers and very knowledgeable. I had a couple other companies out to my commercial property that was having some issues, neither company could figure out the problem but charged me plenty. A friend recommended Bakersfield Plumbing because of their equipment and knowledge. Tony the owner came out along with his foreman and in no time found the problem. We scheduled it and it was repaired perfectly and quickly. I would recommend Bakersfield Plumbing for any plumbing problems.

Alex came out after hours on a Friday evening and diagnosed our plumbing problem. Alex promised to return first thing on Saturday to fix the situation.
Alex showed up as promised, took care of the problem and charged a very reasonable fee.

I had wanted to install risers on our septic tanks and Alex quoted a very fair price for that work to be done.
Liberty Plumbing's crew did a great job - they arrived on time, did the job and cleaned up beautifully when they finished their work.

I had written my check for too much and Alex handed it back to me immediately for correction.
Great integrity!
