Baker's replaced our heat pump condenser, air handler, & thermostat in a home close to the ocean (where everything rusts/corrodes). After getting approximately 10 quotes from various companies, Franklin (owner) gave me one of the best prices, & the best warranty by far. The 3 installation technicians (led by Ronnie) were friendly, professional, & answered all of my questions. Highly recommend.

I am not a fan of reviews but I had to take the time to acknowledge Mr. Franklin Felton of Bakers Residential Experts. I will start by saying THANKS VERY MUCH to Mr. Franklyn for the outstanding services performed on my AC/ Heating system. You have saved me a hefty charge for not replacing my unit compressor and fan that is less than 5 years old; was diagnosed by ARS that the compressor and fan needed to be replaced. I did my research and decided to get a second evaluation ( didn't need to replace anything ). I am very happy that I choose to call Baker for a second follow up - it was based solely on the reviews from other customers. Mr.Franklyn, your prompt, professional, honesty, confidence and expertise are qualities that you displayed and I'm sure your team does the same as well. Mr. Franklyn arrived before the 1 hour window of 3:30pm - 4:30pm and by 5:05 pm my system was diagnosed and fixed. I will definitely use Bakers ResidentiaL Experts again and in the future. I highly recommend his company to anyone. You are respectful, friendly, made me feel comfortable answered and explained everything to me. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

Great customer service and very professional. Stewart was great explaining what we needed. We did have a strange noise after installation. It took several trips to find problem and solution but they did and it was resolved. Would recommend highly. Would give 5 stars but it did take a few trips to get problem corrected.

My air conditioning went out just before my event started, I called around looking for emergency services . A lot of companies called, but bakers was the only company that responded quickly and without ridicules prices just because it was the weekend. The gentleman they sent over was name STEWART. Man when I say this gentleman was professional, great sence of humor, everything that a company needs! Hell people thought he had his own business. He had a defaulted motor that wasn't any good cause It ran the wrong way. He said it only will last a few days but want hurt the system but it will keep your company cool for the weekend and I said run it,now what technician will do that for u without hitting your pockets hard. Thanks STEWART for everything and thanks bakers residential experts for employing true experts like STEWART.

Baker Residential has been called multiple times to my residence to do A/C System warranty repair work for American Home Shield. During this visit they were called on the Friday before Labor Day Weekend due to water intrusion in my attic and living room. It was nearly 100 degrees outside and inside it was almost 90. They first said the blower motor needed to be replaced and then began to show other parts of the system that were at or near their life expectancy. They were fully aware we had 3 other families staying with us for the holiday weekend and knew we needed quick resolution. They gave me a formal quote which entailed a major overhaul of the system. Fixing just the blower motor would not ultimately guarantee a fix and somewhere there was also a leak proven by the frequent refill of refrigerant needed. I agreed to have the work done and knew that by doing this I would be reimbursed 1,500 by the warranty company. It's now nearly March and I still haven't been reimbursed by my warranty company. Baker's Residential notified American Home Shield that the Blower Motor was repaired, that's all. Bakers was subsequently PAID by American Home Shield for the repair of the Blower Motor and the service call AND by us for the FULL replacement of the system. Since they put it in as a repair to American Home Shield and I paid in full for the replacement AHS refuses to reimburse me since it looks like I went against the recommendations of the Company (Baker Residential). Baker's Residential has been completely and 100% unresponsive to my phone calls and AHS. They are satisfied with getting paid twice and telling both parties involved two different stories. At no time has any communication been escalated to anyone other than the person who answers the phone and she notifies us that it will be given to the supervisor yet we've never received a response. Their lack of response confirms their position that it's OK to be paid twice for work being done. Consider this....based on what they reported to American Home Shield, they could have fixed the entire problem by simply fixing the blower motor. This means that I don't have contractors in my home for hours over two days while we have guests in my house for the holiday. I also don't pay them over 10k to replace something that could have been fixed. Had they made the effort to a) Make this right and notify AHS replacement was the only option or b) acknowledged my existence at all and simply responded to my numerous messages and phone calls over two months I wouldn't be writing what I am at this point. YOU as the consumer are reading this right now. YOU know there are two sides to every story. But the indisputable facts are they were double paid for work and clearly figured out a way to come out ahead in the warranty repair work business. As I said, had they tried to defend and/or explain themselves in any way over the past 6 months we might understand their side of the story. Unfortunately where we are at this point is both myself and the warranty company are wondering why they cannot take our calls and thoughtfully respond with the correct details so that the consumer can actually get reimbursed by AHS.

This company does excellent work. I recently had an HVAC system installed at my residence and all the work was done professionally. No problems whatsoever. Passed inspection and the owner, Franklin, was a pleasure to deal with and is quick to get back to you if you have any questions. Don't hesitate to give them a call if you need an HVAC or AC installed at your home.

I did a Yelp Request a Quote and they were one of the companies who were sent my info. He called and we had a conversation about my needs. Many companies wouldn't give me a quote without a home visit, but they understood that I was making a decision very soon and were eager to get me the best price and earn my business. I was very surprised that even being located in Conway and me in Charleston, they still had the most competitive price quote and didn't add on a big travel charge. Ultimately, I ended up going with a different company that happened to be around the corner from me and had the unit I needed in stock. They were able to install today when we're in the coldest weather of the year and I had no heat. Baker's was a few days out to get the package unit I needed. Aside from those couple things, I may have gone with them and would definitely recommend them to others in the future.
