Terrible customer service In office charge , Charge for 5 hours told technician after an hour that was not going to work we should just stop called about bill customer service was rude told me I'll just send it to collections when trying to negotiate a lower cost because nothing was solved I ended up digging it up and fixing it felt like they were just jacking up the cost after 1st hour lot of other companies out there that can do same job Lower cost and don't have to deal with idiots in the office technician should know Cost and inform customer when they get to a certain time frame

Worst service ever. Had me on hold for 20 minutes and transferring to this and that and in the end of it, ""we are sorry, we are not taking new customers"". Well, good luck getting new customers. Im a store owner that needs just a grease trap cleaning. Ill take my store else where. Good riddance, bad service, no customers.

You need to be careful with bakers when you hire them. they over price you and say they did a job but they don't. They also do a half ass job so you can call them back and charge you again, they never empty your grease trap they leave it with some grease in it so you can call them sooner they you have too. Also I know for a fact that they some times take your waste and the grease in the same pump truck which they're not supposed to because waste and grease are not supposed to be mixed and the plumbing has its come ups too. If the plumber doesn't take anything out of the restaurants drains they will lie and say they did so they can charge some times they also say they had to do more then they thought but that's not true they do it so they can double charge you. just be careful

If you're a restaurant in the LA area and don't use Baker to clean out your grease interceptor, you are paying someone else to take your waste to Baker for processing, so you may as well work directly with Baker and save your money. They do all the grease rendering for our region.

Their guys actually do a very good job of cleaning out the interceptors...when they show up. My problem with Baker is that more often than not, they miss their scheduled appointments. I have worked with them for many years and 75% of the time they don't show up and need to reschedule because they claim a truck broke down or another business has an ""emergency"". They add on a lot of extra charges for emergency service, like when a grease trap is overflowing, so they will always pass up regular service to make extra money for an emergency service. Heck, I hope if I had an emergency, they would bail on someone else and help me out. But the bottom line is, even if you have a confirmed appointment, they don't show up 75% of the time.

This company came and took my cooking oil without my permission, and when I called irate and demand they bring it back, they gave me some bs and said they couldn't etc...
When I demanded immediate payment they said they would send a check in a month.
I tried to explain that I have a company that picks it up every month and they pay me cash every time immediately.
And they couldn't even tell me how much they were going to pay me. They would ""have to check it out""
Baker went on to say they had an acct with me. I had never heard of baker, And apparently they had an acct with the old tenant 5 years ago.
Well, a month later I get a HUGE check for $7!?!?
Go to hell Baker commodities. Congrats on stealing my oil

I manage a restaurant in LA and I found them to be very unreliable with waste frying oil pickups.

Also, I learned our oil was going back to feed chickens and cows. Gross!
