Our water heater went out New Year's Eve (Friday night). We waited until Monday morning to find a plumber; we didn't want to incur an emergency fee when it wasn't a true emergency (i.e., no water at all, broken pipe). Of course, the weather exploded everyone's pipes the next day, so by Monday, plumbers were overloaded. Somehow, we still got squeezed in and serviced with a new water heater installed by Tuesday. Excellent customer service, friendly attitude, top-notch installation. Love these guys!

A simple drain clear turned out to be a lot more complicated than we expected. The guys showed up and worked through the problem in great time. Communication on the schedule was great. They arrived on time as promised and got the job done before our guests arrived. As promised. We've used them before and will again if the need arrives. Fair price and quality work.

Our electric hot water tank started geysering on a Thursday, and I called a bunch of places to come take a look. Roto-rooter came out immediately, and quoted $3k to replace a 50 gallon electric tank (which, incidentally, is extortionate, but I didn't know that at the time). A number of other places quoted way less, and I'd arranged to have someone come out the next day.

I'd left a message on Andy's phone, and he called the next day, quoted a way more reasonable price, and came and fixed it that day. Andy and County were professional, did the job in an hour or so, and we have hot water once again. I'm very happy to have given a local guy our business, and I'm super happy with the results. Andy fixed two problems with our plumbing and heating system that the plumbers who did the original installation were never able to correct, even after multiple attempts. He knew exactly what was going on and fixed the issues quickly and efficiently. I can highly recommend Bainbridge Island Plumbing and will use them again.

Mike, Andy and crew are representative of the best on Bainbridge...they quickly estimated our project and its complexity and executed flawlessly....from installing new toilets, a laundry sink, a water line to the refrigerator to a complex new propane pipeline...they were professional! The toilet at the office I work at on the island died... (I don't know how that happens) but any who, a person in our office recommended BI plumbers, we called a few and they were first to respond and showed up same day to check it out... Chris (deep voice) and Andy showed up less than a few hours after calling and gave us a great estimate! We said yes, and asked how soon, they said it would be a few days they weren't sure a toilet would be available... Chris showed up this morning (NEXT DAY) with a toilet, installed that puppy in like 15 minutes and was gone... OMG! How the heck he did that so fast I will never understand! And the bill was right around what they quoted us, a little less actually! Any who we would recommend them to anyone on the island! I heard they even worked on an older house that had old plumbing and requires some odd tools, it took them some time but they did the job great!

Mike and Andy are NO JOKE BRILLIANT. They are reliable, responsive and reasonable. If they were characters from The Office, Andy would be Jim -- jovial and super smiley and awesome at his job. Mike would be Darrell -- straight face business, no effing around, but equally awesome at his job. The odd negative reviews on this site for the family business is because everyone seems to want Michael Scott doing their plumbing. In the last year, I have used them at least five times for various needs at two different locations and I will not hesitate to call them again. Recommend in a heartbeat.

My elderly parents contacted BI Plumbing because of a leak under their kitchen sink that I was unable to get over to look at. Mike and Andy were booked and not able to come until the next day, but when Andy came he was professional and courteous. He quickly determined that the problem was just a loose connection on the sprayer hose which was soon remedied. What impressed my parents and me was the fact that he didn't even charge a trip fee to come see them. My parents are happy customers and will use BI Plumbing again.

Bainbridge plumbing is the best! Had a clogged toilet and Mike was here within a few hours. Determined we needed a new toilet. Andy arrived first thing the next morning with a brand new toilet, installed and working within the hour. Terrific service, nice, neat and courteous guys.
