Called ill american water insurance for a main line collapse 3 guys showed up 2 of em got out and tried to snake the clean out they came to the conclusion the line was collapsed. So they get the guy outta the truck from the start he was extremely rude and insisted someone had worked on my issue before he did?!? Then told me it wouldn't be covered and left. No one ever worked on anything involving drain lines at my house. We had the area located an hour before he got there to be proactive and he claimed that voided the warranty. This guy was unbelievably rude and unprofessional.

So, this company was sent to my house to repair a separated pipe in my ""crawlspace"" ( a room large enough for an adult male to stand straight up in that houses my water heater and furnace). They were sent by American Water Resources. When they arrived they made it as far as my backyard and informed us that they don't do crawlspaces and that our pipe was not covered. They told us they do clogs. We had already paid the $50 deductible for them to repair the pipe. They did nothing, walked from my driveway to my backyard and back again, and left. They were a complete waste of time and money. Useless is an understatement.???????

We had a blockage in our master shower drain. They arrived when they indicated they would, the two gentlemen that came were kind, professional and so helpful. They would not stop until they had the blockage cleared. It turns out it was a bottle cap in the line. He managed to fish it out, cleaned the line, all in under an hour. I will recommend them and should the need arise, use them again.

I do NOT recommend anyone to use this company! Curtis and Joe came to my home to fix a leak in my garage. Curtis went to make a call to the insurance company and sent Joe back to advise the service was not covered. I informed Joe I would pay for the service out of pocket. My husband stated to Joe, so you don't know how to fix it is what you're telling me. Joe said yes we do, you need to take that up with your f***ing insurance company! I felt very disrespected in MY home! I walked to Curtis truck and stated Joe had cussed at me in my home and I felt disrespected and would be filing a complaint. Curtis drove off while I was speaking to him! I called and talked to the owner Dave Bailey and he stated Curtis and Joe does not talk like this! I told him I NEVER said Curtis! Mr. Bailey told me he did not believe me! So basically he said I'm a liar!!!! I feel this company is prejudice and would NEVER recommend! This was a horrible experience!! I will be filing complaint on all social platforms!

American Water used these guys to fix a leaking water line at my moms house in Godfrey Illinois. They repaired a six foot section of water line coming through the wall in her house. They then proceeded to use foam spray around the inside and it went everywhere and looks like crap. As well they left the old parts laying on the floor along with more spray foam. Very unprofessional job and would not recommend as they seem to feel this is acceptable. If you want pictures let me know and I can provide. Save yourself the frustration and find a professional contractor. Tell American Water no thanks if they try to send these guys out.

Hired them for a sewer line inspection in a home we are working towards purchasing, in Edwardsville. We had a good experience with them overall and would hire them again.
Pros:
-the workers seemed very honest and were nice and polite and happy to answer any questions
-it was definitely not a ""rush job"" - there were roots in the line and they tried their best to break through; were unable to do so but inspected the other side of the line. Even though it took more than an hour to take care of this all, and there were actually 3 guys there (they had another job in the neighborhood afterwards) the bill was the same as quoted on the phone
-I asked for an off-the-cuff inspection of the interior plumbing of the house - one of them did so, and provided a lot of useful feedback about the state of the plumbing (no additional charge)
-they are contractors and can do large and small jobs - hence I went with a line inspection for a home purchase from them, so I could get cost estimates of any work needs done
-woman on the phone was polite and helpful in answering questions

Cons:
-the communication could be improved on the phone - I had to call them twice to get the job scheduled, and no one confirmed with me that it was scheduled until my realtor contacted me
-this is not the cheapest place to get the sewer line inspection - it is possible to get for cheaper from another reputable sewer line inspector; for me it was worth the extra money to have a contractor do the inspection so I could get cost estimates for any needed repairs right away (note: I did not try to negotiate a cheaper cost - could have been worth a try)

Note: These are real folks, from Granite, not part of some corporation with lots of requirements on appearance and such. one of the guys who was very nice and helpful and a good communicator, had a lot of tats and a generally ""rough"" look to him. This did not detract from the experience, at all

Will update review if I hire them again
