Chris is the man.

First called Marta and she said that they would get back to me about my problem which was a lost wedding ring in the shower drain.

Soon enough, Chris called, listened to my situation, and gave me clear consultation and advice on how to solve the problem.

Glad to say it worked well, it worked awesome. The ring was recovered!

We had an emergency plumbing situation at our house. Chris and Baikal services stepped in to save the day. Chris was the most responsive and plumber on Thumbtack and was able to come out the same day to check things out and give me a quote. After doing my due-diligence and confirming his quote was aggressive we set-up the repair. He gave me step by step updates while he and his team worked all day to tackle our plumbing issue.
They're clean, friendly, professional and happy to answer questions or explain what's going on. They made a stressful situation less stressful and handled business. I hope I don't need them again any time soon but if I have plumbing issues again I'll definitely be calling Chris.

I would definitely recommend using Baikal Services if you need any plumbing work. I called them up and Chris came out same day to diagnose an in wall water leak in a shower water line that was leaking down into the crawl space. He was able to troubleshoot the issue, cut an access panel in the drywall and resolve the issue. Chris was very professional and honest, and was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Chris came and installed a new toilet for us today. We talked a lot on Yelp first and he was very helpful with recommendations and his quote was competitive. In the end, he brought me the exact toilet I wanted (I know, that sounds ridiculous, but it's true - I wanted a really nice toilet!). He was on time, very friendly, and talked through any potential issues with me before starting the work. In the end, there weren't any surprise issues but I was glad he discussed them up front just in case. I always put this in my Yelp reviews for other women - as a woman home alone with all my contractors - I felt very safe with Chris in my house. Plus, he knew I was the one who hired him, made the choices, and paid the bill and he didn't talk down to me or ask me if I needed to ""talk to my husband"". These sound like things you wouldn't need to write in a review but they do matter to women who are hiring people to come to the house. I would definitely call Chris and Baikal again if I had a plumbing issue.

I had a pipe leak somewhere in a wall of our house that had caused major damage in our kitchen and called Chris. He referred us to All New Again as they specialize in remediation. After they discovered the location of the leak, Chris was called and he literally was onsite right away. He quickly repaired/replaced the pipe and also fixed our outside faucet and expansion tank. His work was impeccable and the fact that he could have charged us a lot to try and find the leak himself, he put our problem first and referred us to someone else that could remediate our situation. He also spent the time to help educate me on how to do ongoing periodic testing myself (which is very quick and easy to do) so I can proactively identify any future issues that could arise from general wear and tear. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone for any plumbing need. Just as important, Chris is someone you can trust that will do a quality job and ensure you are taken care of. I will be calling Chris for any future help I need.

Was in a pinch today as we are leaving town in the morning and the kitchen faucet was leaking real bad.
After multiple trips to the hardware store being given the wrong parts, I went to Home Depot and they submitted my request for a home visit. Wasn't even out of the parking lot when I got a call from Baikal.
Only plumber available day of. Chris was at my house by 1pm and done in an hour. He gave some great advice for our upcoming remodel and checked the water pressure.
It was a very positive experience and he did a great job. Would recommend Baikal Services to any friends and family in need.
