Our water heater went out. I contacted Nick who was very pleasant on the phone and offered to come out and to inspect it. It was a 72 gal water heater and he took time to explain the advantages of replacing it with a 50 gal water heater. It was replaced the next day.
He is pleasant and knowledgeable. I will call him again when I have another plumbing problem.

Our water heater as old and went out. We went out to Home Advisor, and Nick was the first to reply. He supplied a water heater with a shorter warantee than we would usually accept, but it has replaceable parts! He and another gentleman came over, took out the old water heater and put in the new water heater efficiently and well. Great job. Hoping to hire him for antother job soon.

Our hot water heater went out and Rheem technical support said it was going to need a part that would've taken weeks to complete. Decided to bite the bullet and replace. Placed order with Badger Plumbing; upon arrival within minutes he was able to get our unit going. A helluva great, honest guy and he deserves a shout out. During these difficult times, what was going to be s bitter pill to swallow has turned into a setback averted.

I called Nick Badger about a hot water heater problem I was having. He assured me he would go see what was wrong and I never heard back from him after that in spite of repeated texts and calls. Very unprofessional and I cannot recommend him based on his past performance.

In March 2019, Nic from Badger Plumbing was referred to us from another licensed plumber we highly respected. Upon inspection, we needed to have a new sewer line installed from our driveway to the street which is why we were referred to Badger Plumber.
In the beginning, Nic's communication was good and his estimate was fair. Because he came recommended from someone we trusted, we gave him a 10% ""Good Faith"" up front deposit based on the estimate but prior to receiving a proposal and contract.
Nic left that day committed to getting back to us within a couple days with a schedule start date. That date never arrived and although we waited patiently and tried to get in touch with Nic several times, he never came back to do the work and in essence blew us off. He had no problem however immediately cashing our deposit check!
Fast forward and we are now in June 2019. Nic has still not returned our 10% deposit and we are now having to move forward with legal action.
I normally do not post negative Yelp reviews but this experience with Nic and Badger Plumbing has been incredibly unprofessional.
