customer service is terrible! The manager bruce , he doesn't want to hear what, you need to say! We had a problem with overflowing, bc of a bad switch, and I call him, and is answered is , is not there fault that the switch was bad! So the ac, still under warranty, but still charge us,$300 , so we got the drywall fixed costing us$ thousands of dollars, after a month the ac overflow again, and we call the company, 2 guys came , and is overflow again bc of another bad switch , so the drywall was ruined, so i call bruce, and see if they will pay for the damage , and is answer is , is not there fault ! Who the heck is fault is it ! I want the company to pay for the damage! Is answer is call your home owner insurance ! Bad customer service

Had a leaking toilet. Had a """"handyman"""" change the flapper and try to identify the leak. Changed some washers and leak was minimal .. one drop or two after a flush. That was last June. Left for summer, returned after house cleaner had done a great job in October. She unknowingly reactivated the leak. Screws had enlarged the holes after 32 years of use. Called 2 plumbing services. One never returned my call. One returned after a recall. Price was $96 arrival fee for first Thirty minutes. Asked for quote for replacement with ADA height. $675. No guarantees on product if I provide it. Charge per hour for work. Badger Bob has done work for us 3 years ago. Just forgot. Called at 3P on Tuesday, scheduled for Wednesday. Elected to have 2 commodes replaced. Did so at similar price. Great service Plumber Ian. Respecting CoViD precaution .... didn't complain when I changed my mind and he had to go back to pick up another commode. Very happy TWICE

I've been using BADGER BOB'S for my air conditioning in every home I've lived in here for around 25 years. They have always done a great job and I've always highly recommended them and I always give them a 5 star rating which I just did on September 19 when they came out for my twice a year maintenance. The technician Joel was here for over an hour and did an excellent job. Now I'm not sure if another company bought them but I have noticed a big change in their customer service and communications. 1) I received a letter around 2 1/2 weeks ago saying I needed to make an appointment for my maintenance. I was out of town for labor day weekend and I didn't receive it until I got home the day after so I called to set an appoinment up and they told me it would be on September 12 between 1-4 PM. The letter also said that if i would wanted to renew my contract it would be $147 but when I called them up to make the appointment the person I spoke to said the fee was $157 and I asked him why it had gone up up in a week or two and he said he was not aware of the letter I received and he was very nice and said he would send me a $10 refund which he did. 2) Then on the morning of September 12 I received a call saying that my appointment was scheduled for September 19 between 2 and 5 and NOT that afternoon! Not sure why the change but no big deal as I am usually home running a mail order business. 3) Anyway as mentioned above the technician Joel did a great job and tried to explain to me as best as he could what he did plus showed me 10 or more pictures of my system pointing out that there was a lot of mold and mildew and asked if I wanted to schedule to have it removed for $400 or so. I asked him more about it but he's Spanish and didn't speak great English so I told him I'd call the office after he left which I did. 4) I'm not going to go over all the calls I made that day but I spoke to 3 people (all Spanish and all very hard to understand except that each said that someone would call me back. No one did.) 5) I called yesterday September 20 and spoke to one of the same men and asked why no one had called me back and got the same answer which is that someone would call me back. 6) It is now Wednesday September 21 and still no call back. UPDATE!!!! - IT IS NOW SEPTEMBER 22, 2022! STILL NO WORD FROM ANYONE AT BADGER BOB'S!! INCREDIBLE!! UPDATE # 2: - SEPTEMBER 23, 2022.....STILL NO CALL BACK!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Anyway I thought this review might help some people decide if they want to use BADGER BOB'S. Again their service (when they show up!) is good but their customer service communication seems to have gone way down hill.

Had a sewer backup and they came promptly and found blockage in the lines. Cleared line to main and reset 3 toilets for $850. Didnt hesitate to pay. Not two days later same backup issue and we called them to come back. They have billed an additional $350 for the blockage and when we complained they responded """"we cant guarantee our work"""". Say what? Haven't even thought of paying the 2nd invoice. Beware!

Badger Bob's showed up promptly the same day we called. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable and very nice to deal with. We highly recommend Badger Bob's.

We used BB last year to help fix our fridge that was turning into a pool. The guy that came out was very professional and friendly. 350$ later- new part and fridge seemed to work. 11 months later same problem. When I called BB to inform them of our reoccurring problem with the fridge we were told that a tech would come out to our home and not charge the service charge since it appears to be the same problem as before. We were told that our fridge was problematic and this problem would keep occurring due the the type of (newer) fridge we had and there was nothing that could be done that would fix the problem. Too bad he did not tell us that the first time around before we agreed to order to expensive part for it. 2 weeks later we were mailed a bill for the service call fee (around 85$). When i called the office to remind them I was put through to a lady who is a manager with the billing there (I think her name is Ashley). I was yelled at and interrupted, I thought I called the wrong person. She was so unfriendly and would not let me finish a sentence. This company is so unprofessional and billing happy! Beware! Esp. When it comes to pricing, charges, billings etc. The tech that came out to the home was the nicest thing about the company, he was always there on time and friendly.

Frank Balon knows his appliances! When my refrigerator freezer was encased in frozen snow and ice, he wasted no time disposing of multiple thick chunks rapidly taking over the freezer and the deli drawer. Two days later, he returned with a new evaporated cover to finish up the final steps. The original one was severely corroded. I took advantage of the appliance membership fan with its discounts, which was worth it.

Badger Bibs is just the greatest . We have used them over the past two years at two locations. Total HVAC equipment replacements ... and regular maintenance and emergency repairs. Always prompt , courteous , factual and customer oriented. Just terrific!

Well, we thought they were a decent company to deal with when we bought our new refrigerator from them a little over 2 years ago (and it was still under warranty) and believed them when they said that because of that we were to receive """"priority"""" status if we needed service. That was not the case recently when on a Saturday that refrigerator had an issue with the freezer not working. We called for service since the freezer was full of food and we didn't want to lose all of that considering the price of groceries these days. After getting the answering service and having to wait for someone to call us back, they called and informed us that """"they were too busy"""" to come out that day and it would be Tuesday (3 days later) before they could get to us! Wow, seriously!! A freezer not freezing and someone might lose all their food in it and you expect them to wait 3 days!! Oh, and the refrigerator the customer bought from you cost them $3700.00, not just a basic refrigerator!! Needless to say, they have lost a customer and hopefully more will read this review and think twice about using them!!

Badger Bob's came out to fix my washing machine. It was an $89 fee for a service call. After cleaning out the washing machine I was informed my drain pump was shot and I would need a new one. The tech said he would see if he had a pump that fit but it was definitely going to cost more than what I had originally anticipated(cost went from $160. -$240) when he didn't have a pump that would fit he said he would have to order one and the cost now had escalated to $350- $400 a)because he had to order a new part. I told him no I could just buy a new washing machine from Tony's used appliances for $200. He got on the phone with my husband did a sales pitch and we agreed to buy a new appliance from them and they would waive the $89 service call however when I asked again about that $89,it was now being put towards an installation fee.We cancelled our purchase after calling around & discovering that we could buy the same exact washer they were going to sell us for cheaper at Home Depot. I was able to purchase a used washing machine from Tony's used appliances on Clark Road with a $60 installation fee I highly recommend them over Badger Bobs.
