To safeguard public health, Washington mandates annual testing of backflow prevention devices. This obligation is rooted in Federal Law, namely the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act. Common locations for backflow preventers include irrigation systems, fire suppression systems, soda machines, and institutions like hospitals, dental practices, and laboratories. When functioning properly, these devices ensure water flows in a single direction, blocking pollutants and contaminants from tainting our drinking water. You certainly don’t want to drink your neighbor’s newly applied grass fertilizer or leached copper from a soda dispenser. Backflow VIP, LLC was founded to fulfill Washington State's annual testing requirements and ensure we have safe drinking water.
Hello! I dedicated 20 years to the United States Air Force as a Cyber Systems Operator. While serving, I configured, supported, and safeguarded some of the most complex global communication networks still functioning today. After spending a total of three years away from my family, I decided it was time for a change.
I possess certification from the State of Washington to carry out backflow testing throughout the state. Backflow VIP, LLC tests backflow devices typically found in irrigation systems, soda machines, and fire suppression systems in buildings. We handle both residential and commercial projects and partner with HOA communities.
