Authorized by Washington State to carry out annual backflow inspections on irrigation systems, fire protection systems, carbonated beverage equipment, and others. We specialize in winterizing irrigation systems.

Washington State requires yearly testing of backflow prevention devices to protect our health. This regulation is driven by Federal Law, particularly the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act. Common locations for backflow preventers include irrigation systems, fire suppression systems, soda machines, and institutions like hospitals, dental practices, and laboratories. When functioning properly, these devices ensure water flows in a single direction, blocking pollutants and contaminants from tainting our drinking water. You absolutely don’t want to ingest your neighbor’s recently applied lawn fertilizer or leached copper from a soda machine. Backflow VIP, LLC was created to address Washington State's annual testing needs and help guarantee we drink clean water.

Greetings! I proudly served in the United States Air Force for two decades as a Cyber Systems Operator. Throughout my service, I set up, maintained, and protected some of the most sophisticated global communication networks still in use. After three years apart from my family, I resolved to pursue a new path.

I am certified by the State of Washington to perform backflow testing statewide. Backflow VIP, LLC tests backflow devices typically found in irrigation systems, soda machines, and fire suppression systems in buildings. We handle both residential and commercial projects and partner with HOA communities.
