Have used Bach for most of my repairs, carpentry, electrical etc since 1997. They are currently working on my second home. I would not trust anyone else with work for my addition/sunroom. Since this is an all glass room, to include the ceiling, I was not taking any chances with another contractor.
The entire process so far, from whenI first reached out to them to ask for a quote, , to having their project manager Brock, who is super knowledgeable, timely, and very accommodating, do a site visit, to the super friendly folks who pick up the phone main line when I call to make a payment and the polite young man operating the excavator today. All true professionals!

So helpful! Just called for guidance because my basement keeps flooding. Got a call back in less than 5 minutes. The plumber was very knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me through the steps to take first in order to figure out the problem. So nice that he was willing to do this over the phone and free of charge! If I do end up needing plumbing work down there, I certainly know who I am calling! Refreshing.

I just read the other reviews and was shocked. Bach & Co helped build our home and did a marvelous job. They were always timely, cleaned up and when inspected - everything was to code. In addition, they open and close our house every year. I would not hesitate to contact them for any work to be done. A quick phone call to the office is always answered by a courteous staff member and handled professionally. I know how sometimes we are quick to complain, but just want people to know that I have used Bach for years and I trust them to do any job professionally and efficiently.

Bach built a $36,500 lake wall for us in Henderson Bay and it is a disaster. The stairs to the beach are a mess & very dangerous. They said they would come back to fix it but when we called about when they were coming back they said they were too busy & to get somebody else & then hung up on my husband. Lies, lies, lies.

Bach did electrical work to our home shortly after we purchased, installing new electrical box. When we turned around to sell a few years later, the inspector stated the new panel was not grounded and several other shortcuts that were taken, causing the potential for a house fire or other event that could lead to serious injury or death. They didn't return my calls, and so I contacted Better Business Bureau, sharing photos of the work, but they just basically denied they were at fault. No apology, accusations of me lying, and talking in circles. Steer way clear of this business unless just buying parts from their store (by the Barry the clerk is very helpful and professional). Do you really want to put your family's safety in your hands?

I am in government work and subsequently write many government contracts several of which were awarded to Bach company so I know how much they get paid and what a successful company they are. I had a good working relationship with Bach, so naturally I didn't think twice when a rock flew out of one of their dump trucks and smashed my windshield that they would make good on it....well just got word that Bach denied the claim I filed with their insurance company to have my little VW Jetta windshield replaced. The short of the long is if I cant trust Bach to make good on a tiny little accident why should I trust them with any high dollar contract? Just something to keep in mind when you are trying to keep your business local and your local business will just as soon screw you over than keep you as a customer. I guarantee Bach will no longer be awarded any government contracts period.
