The business was purchased by us in 2017, from a former owner who had been in business for more than 20 years at this site. I worked alongside the previous owner for a decade, before we assumed ownership.

Cara K.Worst experience ever. The tech came in this morning and the inside unit was still frozen. He had to come back. I understand. He came back early afternoon only to come in with a screwdriver and was with my inside unit for under two minutes. Came up and told me it was too dirty for him to do anything. I needed to call back and make an appointment for a later time to have it cleaned. Quoted me $500 to $600 because he needed to cut my coil out to clean it, not replace it, just to clean it. Then handed me a bill for $100. Didn't even try to pressurize the system. When I called to speak with someone higher up, Chris for a better explanation, he danced around it all. First told me the tech should have stayed to fix it, only to retract and say if it was only a couple of minutes of work, but 3 or 4 hours worth he couldn't stay. I'm paying for the service correct??? Now we are left with a 92 degree house with two kids and little to no explanation for the $100 2 minute service fee and then to be left in the heat. Shame on you B&S. You will never get my business again.
From the initial meeting for a quote, the owner was rude, unprofessional and talked down to you with almost an annoyed tone. Pricing was high as well. Installation ""seemed"" to go well and fairly quick. We then noticed water damage to interior walls and our flooring which was coming from improper installation of the water drainage from the unit. When the company was called, the owner refused to call us back initially. When he finally did, he was again completely rude and unprofessional stating that it was not his fault and that we should have told them where to put the drain! He even hung up on us, the paying customer, multiple times. Worst experience that cost us a lot of money! Would never call them again for anything!
B&S is a great company. We had to get a new furnace because our new home didn't have one. Skip was very polite and professional and had no problems discussing things with us to make sure we got what we needed at a reasonable price. They offer great products at competitive prices.
