Brad S.What kind of scam are scam are you running here. We had them come out because our home warranty told us that is who we had to use for a stoppage. First they tell us that we don't have an access line and that they would have to rot out via the upstairs toilet. The problem was fixed for about 10 hours and then we had stoppage again. We called them out an additional 2 times and they still did not fix the issue. They then tried to tell us that we needed to install and access line and that it would be somewhere between $3-4K. That being a lot of money, we had Roto Rooter come out for a second opinion. We showed Roto Rooter some pipe that had water squirting out of it during the stoppage (we showed BNK the same pipes btw) and those are our access lines!! We not only have an access line, we have 2 of them. 2 of them.... We showed you these same pipes, bnk, and you called them plumbing vent lines. Ridiculous. You tried to take advantage of us. We are spreading the word with everyone we know.
We had BNK out through our home warranty service for a faucet that had gone bad and was leaking. They had just installed it 2 years prior so that should've been a warning. After confirming it needed replaced they left saying they didn't have a spare with them and told me to keep a bowl under the leak. With 3 small kids at home all day, we use this sink a lot so this was not a great option!
They called days later and they gave me the options to pay an additional $100 to get a faucet that had a matching finish or go with builder grade. I called my husband who was out of town and he called them and ultimately told them to install the builder grade as we were planning to remodel the kitchen in the near future. 2 more days later they install the faucet and it only reaches one half of our divided sink, unfortunately not the side with the disposal! This alone took 3 hours (2nd warning sign) and they refused to fix it or return our home warranty fee.
When my husband called to complain, the owner told him that I had told him to install it even after he told me it wouldn't work. I don't normally run into sexist contractors, but this was blatant. When my husband reminded him that he had called to confirm the faucet choice and spoken to their customer service, the owner again showed sexism and said the woman answering the phone didn't know anything and he shouldn't have listened to her!
Now that we're remodeling the kitchen we will definitely not be having them do our plumbing and have removed them from our call list with our home warranty service.
Laurie G.I was researching plumbers for my elderly great Aunt Agnes who lives in Johnsberg, She's 86 and she isn't very savvy when it comes to hiring people (no, Agnes, the nice young fellow with the nose ring who helped you with your groceries at Meijer last week probably can't fix the pipes under the house) so I looked around online for plumbers and called BNK and initially spoke to Rachel. I explained my aunt's situation and she was super helpful, she understood what was needed and sent someone right out to help her. Boy was my aunt thrilled with the guys who came to help. She even gave them some fresh banana bread she just made, and she doesn't do stuff like that often! She even called up Rachel again afterward thanking her for sending them. That's really saying something because Aunt Agnes doesn't remember things that well but she remembered how nice Rachel was to her, and she later told me she wrote the name BNK Plumbing in her rolodex with a big star by the name, so she'd remember they were good people. So thanks BNK on behalf of Aunt Agnes. And now we have a good place for the future, the next time something gets flushed down the toilet that shouldn't be.
I tried to use BNK plumbing through my American home shield. We had to switch. Absolutely terrible customer service. The manager basically mocked me throughout my call with him. They give out five hour time slots, so you literally have to take an entire day off for a 30 minute service call. Stay away from this company.
Dan S.If there was a catagory for negative stars, this company would get my vote. I had a very basic drain blockage in my master bathroom. I was using a home warranty company. The toilet and shower drains were blocked. ""Tim"" comes in and claims he needs to dig up my front yard and make some sort of access to clear the blockage. Unfortunately for him, I'm not naive. I asked him why he couldn't just go through the toilet drain. He then claimed it was company policy that he couldn't do it that way. He then told my home warranty company that he never said that, and he could clear the blockage through the toilet. However, when i asked him to do that he stated he would not and drove off. I tried calling his supervisor. The dispacther claimed the supervisor was off for the weekend. Mind you it was Thursday. Well, I just had another plumber come. His first move was to go through the toilet drain, and clear the blockage. Pretty simple for him, apparently not for BNK. BNK has terrible customer service, and try to get you to pay for work you don't need.
Company is not fair, do not guarantee their work, install cheap parts. I would not ever recommend their service to anyone
Philip S.So I have a home warranty and the warranty company scheduled BNK to come out.
I had used them in the past to clean out a clogged drain. The person they sent back then was able to get into the crawlspace of my house with no problem.
The plumber that showed up today was too fat and couldn't fit.
So I wasted a vacation day and will have to burn another when the next company comes out.
Why hire somebody who cannot physically do the job?
F*ck BNK.
Fran T.NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!
They will lie and tell you your plumbing is not up to code so they don't have to do the work. This is after they take your money and go out to their truck and call their boss and ask what line they should feed you about why they can't do the work.
David M.Bad customer service, I am a very reasonable person was explaining to tech that the sump pump he left on was burning up and there was a strong burning smell coming out of it technician snapped on me, and afterwards made every excuse in the book not to do the job.
Bad service, bad attitude
Christopher M.Had a hot water issue. The control until was solid red light which read control unit failure. The tech came out and cleaned the unit out which did relight the unit. I asked why would the control unit stay solid red if it was not a failed unit? His reply those codes do not mean anything... really... 6 days later the hot water heater is not working again... Guess what it says control unit failure.... This is under a home warranty issue so I am at the mercy of no Saturday and Sunday. They call me saying everyone is out sick today and want to bump it up 2 business days... Now this is where I was wrong I called the tech a douch for glossing over the entire thing... He ended up transferring the service call to another vendor which played right into their plan... they did not want to come back out to fix their original mistake.
This is the problem when you get a home warranty service, sometimes you do not get the best. My position because they didn't fix the problem correctly the first time you think they might have pride and bump the service request up some because this issue was due to not fixing it right the first time.
This is the problem with most companies in America they do not stand behind their work. I am sure at their core these are good people just expected way better service for a recall on the first job.
