This is way over due, but since moving to Sacramento a year ago, Ivo and Bea have been my lifesavers. Twice now, major problems have happened the morning I am flying out of town and they have always been Johnny on the spot to fix the problems. Communication is the best and I feel at peace that I know the problem will be taken care of! Major work done and all at a very reasonable price. HONEST GUY ALL THE WAY AROUND! Thanks Ivo and Bea! Very grateful to you both! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had a clogged drain. Thought I would try B & I. No live person at phone number, but message said to try another number to get through. I just moved on to another plumber. Dime a dozen you know. But then someone called me back. Found out it is a one man operation with wife taking calls. I went ahead and made an appointment with them. They kept either postponing or asking if I would be available in between jobs. Kept putting me off and eventually stopped calling me all together. WOW! What a lousy small time business.
Like I said, plumbers are a dime a dozen.
IF you need someone, do not count on these guys at all. Check out other poor reviews. Same problems. I don't get why there isn't a no star rating?!?!

We had an emergency. His wife promised they'd be out by three. At three we called and she said he was backed up but for sure they would come. At four no one answered when we called. At four thirty they finally answered and said they had too many jobs and wouldn't make it. Had to pay another company double to come after hours. So very upsetting.

We had a plumbing emergency. They told us a time when they could come to our house the next day. And when the next day rolled around they were a no show. They weren't even considerate enough to call and say they wouldn't make it that day. And when my boyfriend called them,the lady on the phone was rude and hung up. Thank you so much for leaving us with no working toilets and flooding showers for another day. I do not recommend this place if you need reliable plumbing.

So my wife calls me at work at 3:00pm to tell me that the hot water heater is leaking (flooding) in the hall and in the utility closet. I called my normal plumber but he was booked until Wed. I hopped on Yelp and searched for ""best+plumber+sac"" praying for an good plumber who is also available for same day service. The receptionist was very helpful and was generally concerned with my situation. I was in touch with a plumber within 20 mins, and they were at my house within 2 hours after picking up an USA made water heater (not the offshore ones at Lowes). The guys even made a trip to hardware store to get the right parts. Great work and great attitudes - I recommend.

When you are facing a plumbing crisis (which I was with my rental in North Highlands), this is the business to call. They network with other small, well known plumbers to help YOU, even if they can't get out there. Dee referred me to Phil's Plumbing just because she knew it was more important for me to get taken care of right away. She then called back to see that everything was OK and that I got taken care. Now that is customer service! - Thank you!!

I found these guys on Yelp and called them because of their strong reviews to come do a simple fix at our house. They promised to call me back the next day with a time that they can come out. 3 days later I still haven't received a call back and in the meantime, I found another handyman on Yelp to do the job. I am tired of continually trying to bring local businesses my money and they turn it away. I take my money to those who wish to earn it. Sorry guys, I hope I'm the only one who has to leave a poor review on your business. But my experience with you says ""BOO""!!!!

Just to state right off the bat: This is hands down the best plumber you will find in Sacramento. Honest, talented, and won't overcharge you.

I had gotten quoted over $300 to replace a master shutoff valve in my house. Ivo came over in the morning and quoted me $275 to do it, and then came over later the same day to complete the task. After finishing, he lowered the price to $225 because it was easier than he expected.

Ivo is very friendly and easy to trust. You will not be sorry if you go with B & I plumbing. They have become my permanent plumber from now on.

**Update: Ivo just came over and helped me replace a broken valve so that I could get water to my refrigerators ice maker. He replaced it easily (I had spent hours trying to do the same thing). As he left, I asked him how much I owed him, and he said don't worry about it. This guy is awesome.

Don't even bother researching other plumbers. We had already done it. This mom & pop plumbing service run a great business. We had a leak somewhere in our sink area that was forming large puddles in the middle of our kitchen, and we were panicking that this would be a huge cost. After calling B & I plumbing, they came within an hour all the way to Davis, diagnosed the problem, told me the part I needed (some $5 part from Ace Hardware) and it only cost $65 to fix my issue. Instead of my fear of paying several hundreds of dollars, they fixed my problem quickly and dealt with me fairly.

I would recommend B & I for anyone's plumbing needs.

We had a clogged sink and my husband had removed the garbage disposal thinking he might find the clog but it wasn't that easy. So we looked on yelp and called Ivo out. He came out that day when he said he would and was very courteous and really knew what he was doing. He ran the snake through the pipe and said there was 3 clogs, caused by putting the wrong stuff down the disposal. He was very helpful with his advice but the reason for only 4 stars is I think his price was a little high. He charged $180. For running the snake through and reinstalling garbage disposal which was a total of about 30 minutes. I haven't had to call a plumber in 10 years so maybe that's what they charge these days. Just saying
