I highly recommend B&I. We will never use another Sacramento plumber again.

We were in a tough situation...both toilets were overflowing and it was Friday night. In the morning we would be celebrating a birthday at our house so we really needed someone out right away. I went to Yelp and found that B&I had some of the best reviews and gave them a ring.

The lady I spoke with said she wasn't sure if someone would be able to come out that night, but gave me Ivo's number to give him a call directly. Talking with Ivo he said he would be able to be there in 2-3 hours at the latest. I asked him if he could give me some sort of estimate based on the issue and he said it would likely be between $55-$155 (unless there was something else going on). For a Friday night call this seemed VERY reasonable.

Ivo was at my place in 75 minutes! He listened to what was going on and immediately started working on the clean out. He took his time to make sure things were taken care of and when it was all said and done he charged $130. Now I've paid a plumber from a ""big name"" plumbing company $100 to do a 5 minute job before, so I was more than happy to pay $130 for a Friday night call that fixed the disaster we had. Ivo was extremely friendly and gave me great advice.

Stay away from this plumbing company.
I called this company after reviewing the reviews
on Yelp. My toliet was leaking into my downstairs
neighbors house. I could see were the leak
originated. The water was leaking from a hose
connected to the toilet. I explained this to the
company. I was told by the company they would come out.
They would have to do three different procedures.
Which would be costly. I told the company I could see
The water leaking, and why would it involve several different
procedures. That's when I was told your an asshole.
I don't think that comment was warranted. I am a senior citizen.
I called another company, and over the phone was told that I just
needed to tighten the nut were the water was leaking. The first guy was
rude and used profanity. Don't use this company.

This is the 2nd time we have used B & I Plumbing & Ivo continues to be the best! Honest, professional, nice guy who gets the job done right for a good price. Very trustworthy. I highly recommend B & I Plumbing.

Ivo came over on short notice and helped free a stuck valve. I was replacing a toilet, already had the parts, and he replaced the valve and advised how I could finish the job myself. To top it all off, he would not even accept payment for all of his help!

He was the most pleasant plumber I've ever met and was knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend him if you're looking for an honest plumber at a reasonable price!

Ivo was wonderful. Dependable, conscientious, and very knowledgable about what needed to be done. I highly recommended him to anyone. This is the first time I used him. I will give him any future business I may need. A friend of mine needed a plumber to perform some plumping that afternoon. I found Ivo on Yelp and my friend called him. The plumbing problem was fixed by the end of the day in a very timely manner.

I'm so so so angry at myself for not calling Ivo to fix my plumbing issues I recently had. plumber from MSE Plumbing actually smashed my 60 year old tile trying to gain access to my kitchen sink pipe. that would have NEVER happened with Ivo. Thanks American Home Shield for hiring shitty contractors.

Called B&I to see if the plumber's that come out to do the work have cameras on their trucks. Spoke with a lady that was not sure of the equipment on the trucks and was some what rude. She repeatedly talked over me as I tried to explain my plumbing issue and was quick to get off the phone with me. All and all the first impression was negative with this company. 30 mins later this plumbing company called me back to see if I was able to get a plumber. I informed the person on the phone I went with a different company and was not interested in B & I's service due to the individual that was rude to me on my initial call. The lady on the phone advised me it was her I previously spoke to and that she was not rude. She continued to interrupt me as I tried to explain myself. I eventually told her to shut her mouth and stop talking over me and the conversation was pointless since I already had a different company coming out to my home. She finish the conversation by telling me to go F*ck myself then hung up.

Of the plethora of contractors vying for your business it's no wonder why selecting the right one is so very difficult. So many factors are involved...what is their work quality, can I trust them in my house or to complete the job at hand, are they qualified/licensed, experience is very important, better check the BBB, let's YELP the business, yellow pages....and so on...it's quite the thought process unless the contractor was referred by a friend or family member. Well, In this case I got a plumbing bid estimate from a locally established plumbing company with a fleet of workers and trucks...and also involved in roofing, electrical, sewage, etc.. Project: change 11 angle valves to 1/4 turns to meet more recent code and change four sink faucets. They were BBB accredited and family owned/operated. The bid sounded reasonable given that Home Depot charges $99 for basic faucet installations....does not include angle valve replacement. As a 2nd bid we ran across B&I in YELP. The reviews were very good .....covering pricing, quality, and friendliness. Before calling B&I, I already knew who the players were from the Yelp reviews...Bea would answer the phones and Ivo is the licensed plumber. After explaining the job to Bea, she contacted Ivo who later called me back to get a better understanding of the project and hardware being supplied (ie faucets, angle valves, water lines). Within 20 minutes, Ivo called back with a phone price for the job which included a 10% discount for new customers and was much more reasonable than my first bid. Did I mention that I called B&I in the morning, hired Ivo on the phone after pricing was relayed to me, he promptly showed up at 3pm and completed the job 5.5 hours later. Ivo works crazy long hours to 11:30pm at night ..7 days a week. Ivo would have been done sooner but the Kohler drain pipe washer was too big for my sink and therefore leaked. In Ivo's 28 years plumbing experience, he immediately recognized the issue. From that point out ..about 530pm, Ivo went into McGyver mode, went back to his supply truck and searched for other drain washers that would be a better fit. He found three drain washers from excess parts. Overall, Ivo's was quite the plumbing Champion. He is friendly, knowledgeable and a very hard worker...and their pricing is very reasonable. Ivo was also very open and patient in explaining what he was doing to better educate the consumer. I would definitely rehire him for subsequent jobs....thanks Ivo & Bea for a very pleasant 1st time plumb

I've used B&I Plumbing on two jobs now, after finding them initially here on Yelp. I have been extremely pleased with all work. Ivo does sometimes takes a little longer to get to you than first promised, but that seems to be because he will stop to help out people who have true emergencies. The first time I used B&I, Bea kept me updated as this happened. The second time - well, in that case I was the emergency. Ivo came out quickly late on a Friday afternoon. Prices are always reasonable. Ivo does things right - including pulling permits and having inspections done - so if you are looking for someone to do a shoddy, patched together, unpermitted job, he's probably not your guy. But if you want things done properly, but without any unnecessary gold plating of the job, then B&I are the ones to call.

I had some concerns about a toilet that was repeatedly backing up. I called B&I at 5:45 expecting to leave a message and set up an appointment for the following day. To my surprise someone answered and said ""Ivo"" would be out in about an hour. True to their word, Ivo showed up within an hour. After talking me through my problem, Ivo concluded that my ""fix"" was a good one and that I didn't need him to do any additional work. After chatting about the neighborhood (Ivo and his wife are long time East Sac residents themselves) and the real estate market Ivo advised me that since I had already fixed the problem there would be no charge.

In my experience, Ivo was quick, trustworthy and genuinely pleasant; three things you don't necessarily associate with all plumbers! B&I definitely deserves their position as the top rated plumber on yelp.
