B&G Plumbing & Excavation has terrible workmanship horrible the way they talk to you if you ask if there's something wrong refuse to repair ugly workmanship my water heater is not level they used KD pipe for the exhaust instead of the code rated flu for the water heater when I called them about it they were very rude and said I was crazy and stoned B&G Plumbing & Excavation is the worst company and the worst workmanship I have ever seen and they talk to you like you're a piece of shit on a scale from 1 to 100 I would rate them 0

These guys were prompt, professional and capable. They finished my project quickly, it looks great, and it didn't break the bank.

This is a long story but I'll try to keep it shorter. I had a water heater problem, the water heater was still under warranty. I tried dealing with them myself but it was slow going. So I called B&G, they came out to try and help me. They told me to have the manufacturer send me a couple of parts which they did, Bubba installed them and it read another code and needed another part, we called and got the other part. They install it and the water heater still isn't working. So after 10 days without hot water in my house i tell them to replace the water heater. 2 grand later it's installed and we have hot water. The whole house takes showers, i'm the last one and there is very little water pressure. I go to bed and the water heater is running, i wake up an hour later it's still running.
The hot water line broke behind my shower. Call B&G the next day they come out and give me a quote to re plumb the house and say insurance should cover some of it. $10,200 for a new supply line and run new hot and cold water in the house. I ask for an itemized quote, Bobo gets offended and tells me to get a quote somewhere else, he underbid it already because of history(replacing water heater). I've already been out of hot water for 11 days, now replumb the house. All my water fixtures are on 1 wall, I have a small house. I agree to the bid out of desperation. They remove the tub, and surround, cut into the wall with all the water fixtures on it. Dry out the bathroom for 3 days unsupervised. Replumb house in about a day and half, that part was great. But then everything else needs to be done; sheetrock, tub, surround, flooring, painting. Not only did they not communicate when they would be working, but when I would call or text and ask when they would be, I would get Oh they'll be out tomorrow and no one would show up for 2 days. They finally finish after we spend 5 days in a hotel and i finally have to tell them to put the toilet in so I can live in my house. It takes another 2 weeks to finish. I get the final bill and at the bottom it says the total and that I need to call them about the outstanding restoration bill. This is the part that feels like they double dipped. At no point along the way did they tell me or inform me of this portion, only said my insurance would cover the tub and surround and drying out the bathroom. That bill comes to 7 grand and they are negotiating with my insurance for that portion. If my insurance denies the claim i'm on the hook. Luckily my insurance did pay. But I had to redo some of the work my self, they left piles of dirt in my yard and never cleaned it up. So, poor communication, lack of organization, jobs only finished part way, and taking advantage of people and insurance company in a bad situation.

We called B&G for a toilet installation on a Saturday. Our stress level was high as we only have one bathroom. They quoted $225 and said they would even pick the toilet up for us and haul our old one away at no additional charge. Justus came out and was excellent. He took his time and explained everything. He was here for about an hour and made sure everything was working properly and to our satisfaction. We have some water damage in the bathroom and asked about that and he explained other services that B&G offers without pushing AT ALL. We were so impressed with the service that we got that we will most likely be calling these guys back for a re-pipe that we have been meaning to do.

Needed new gas lines for new appliances. The appliances were in the house before Buba started the upgrade but he still managed to undersized 3 out of the 4 new lines, including the hot water heater. Found this out after I called the city and schedule my own inspection.
The most dangerous part is Bobo, the owner and Buba, his son, both said no permits are needed for new gas lines. Very much wrong, any gas work has to be permitted.
I stopped payment for the work and hired a plumber who can read a gas line capacity chart.
If you're house is flooding at 2am call Bobo! If you want quality work look elsewhere

After calling about ten other companies who couldn't even get to the phone, B&G were immediately available and eager to help. They guaranteed 8 hr turn around maximum on restoring hot water and they were able to come out to our office within an hour.
We had to replace the hot water heater due to age, but they gave us a great deal (with warranty on the work done) and finished the job in under 2 hours.
Highly recommend them!! Thank you B&G!

Craig and Justus did a wonderful job installing my new toilet! B and G were recommended by George Morlan and I could not be happier as to the work they did. They were relaxed,KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND FINISHED THE JOB IN LITTLE OVER AN HOUR!!! some of my prior experiences with other plumbing companies were definitely not so pleasant! Their mechanical ability along with their willingness to explain the various features of my new toilet are appreciated. This is a company that appears to be well run and very organized in what they are doing. Thank you Craig and Justus!

Very impressive bunch of guys hard working honest and fair They get the job done right the 1st time Their experience says It all They save me put a new sewer line and while the hole was open ran a new water service to my house They are not just plumbers they are great guys

This company is committed to their promises and to their customers. I am impressed.
It was the night of Thanksgiving when we discovered that our aging gas water heater had stopped working. It had happened once before and we were hoping a simple re-light would solve the problem. I found this place online and the site said open until midnight. I kid you not this was 11:25pm on Thanksgiving. I called and a very reasonable person asked me about the situation. I needed just the make and model to get an idea of our options. The tech named Bobo said he would come out that very minute if he had the parts but it would have to wait until the morning. He showed up at 7:40am just like he promised with another tech and got to work. They even instinctively took their shoes off every time they came in from the truck.
He found out our heater was older than expected and was outside general company policy to work on but he did anyway because he had promised as much. It turned out our situation was worse case scenario. We could wait a week without hot water for the part or get the whole unit replaced. He said it would cost exactly $1250 and take only an hour. He happened to have the replacement model in his truck. We were going on a trip this very morning and I had to make an expensive decision. We committed to the replacement and yes they were done in an hour. They didn't even need to negotiate with any details about how it was to be installed, any changes to the pipes. They explained their plan once and got it done. I didn't even hear when they wheeled out the old unit. I paid him on the spot. There was a labor warrenty, but no exhaustive paperwork to go through. The crises only set back our travel plans about 30 minutes.
They were fast, honest, and even quiet.

The owner and all of his employees are not just skilled plumbers but fabulous human beings. I don't write reviews often but I LOVE this company. As long as they are in business I will never need go anywhere else for my plumbing needs. I've been using them for repairs over five years now on my old 1924 bungalow with old rusty pipes. Hoping to be able to have them re-plumb my entire house in the near future.
