had an issue with my washer. I went on angi and found some plumbers, but couldn;t get anyone to come out, probably because it was a small job. Googled for a plumber and found B&F. I called and got a return call within a few minutes. Explained problem and Fred said he'd be able to come out the next day. As it wasn't an emergency (i've been going to the laundromat for weeks now) I asked if he could come Friday morning early (i had to get to work) and he obliged said he'd be here by 8:30 and this morning at 8:30 my bell rang and there was Fred. Very nice guy. He fixed the problem and was out of here in around 25 minutes. Highly recommend Fred of B&F Plumbing. Will definitely call him whenever I need a plumber.

Amazing efficient, helpful and known service from Fred with reasonable pricing. He provided a quote for bathroom and kitchen replacing water shutoff valves and didn't change the price even when the requirements slightly changed. Also, Fred was very patient and answered all my questions and checked whether anything else needed to repaired when requested. So grateful to have an extremely positive experience with a plumber.

Freddy the Butcher - how he is commonly referred to in my home - is possibly the worst choice you can find. I wouldn't trust him to turn on a garden hose.

We remodeled our home in 2017 and are still dealing with his F-ups. I've personally had to rework bathroom sinks, hose bibs, tubs and pretty much anything he touched. Laid out the shower setup with him no less than 3 times on paper and on walls and he still managed to get it wrong. He's got the opposite of what one would call the Midas touch.

Don't use unless you are a glutton for punishment.

Posting now after 5 years as I'm dealing with another one of his issues.

STAY AWAY!!! These guys are total scammers.
Fred gave us the run around about fixing a leaky sink for a MONTH! And when he finally came he ""did all of this work"" (which we didn't ask for and did not have to be done) and then handed us a $1000 bill. What the F??! $1000 to fix a leaky faucet and WE bought the faucet all he had to do was put it in!
I will be calling the Better Business Bureau about this, it's straight up theft. This guy does not deserve to be in business and ruin the local community.

Fred is the ultimate professional. He is knowledgeable. He works carefully and thoroughly. Nothing phases him. (Getting that boiler into our 125 year old basement attests to that.) And his pricing is half of what other quotes were. And, if a steam boiler can be beautiful, our new one is! Thank you Fred.

Had fred recommended by my painter, he spotted a radiator leak and I called fred and he was out same day. He quickly stopped the leak and I asked him to return and install vents on radiators to control the heat to each room. He came back a couple days later and installed those and an older radiator as well.
Service was prompt, efficient, well priced and Fred made sure that everything was functioning properly in my 100yo old house radiators.

Our basement sewage pump broke couple days after moving into our new home, so our slop sink was not draining. B&F came the day we called. They came by, realized the problem, went out and picked up the part from the hardware store, and did the job that lasted past dinner time. If anything happens again (fingers crossed it doesn't), I'll be calling. Total cost was reasonable: the part was ~$450, and total was ~$700 (2 hours or so of work).

My experience with B & F Plumbing & Heating was great! I received a call back within the same day of me calling. I spoke to Fred to set up for service and he was pleasant and he even showed up 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment. He was efficient and got the job done in no time. I think his pricing was fair and I would recommend him to anyone in the area.

My regular plumber was on vacation so I took a chance on a new one recommended by a friend. The job was relatively simple and took all of 15 minutes. Afterwards I was handed a bill for several hundred dollars. When I questioned the job, the guy told me he charges by the project and refused to budge on the billed amount. When I mentioned this to my regular plumber afterwards, he told me I got gypped and the 'project' should have cost 1/3 of what was charged. Needless to say, I will not be using B&F Plumbing again.
