My elderly parents requested a plumber to come out to look at low water pressure. A technician came out, looked at various things, took a water sample to confirm that the water softener was working and left. He call hours later and told my mother that my father could turn the water softener back on because it was apparently working.
He pulled the water and dryer out from the wall. Disconnected the vent pipe from the dryer which left my parents to get it back on the dryer.

They STILL have no water pressure.

Not even worth it! Had the plumber come out to look at my issues...leaky faucet and water heater. Gave me the estimate on the spot for the water heater and said let's wait until the weather is better for that to be replaced...you can put a cap where the leak is for now. Then would have someone give me a call back regarding a new faucet....several days went by and never heard a peep...called another company and all is well now. No need to call here again.

This is the second time I've had to deal with this company, as per my insurance.

The same gentleman came out both times. The first instance the shower pipers were leaking, however he said it was not covered by my insurance company. He took his fee for coming out at left. I never heard from my insurance company, so I didn't think anything of it. I should have been a little smarter. Why wouldn't they call me to let me know my claim was denied?

The second instance our ground level clean out was backed up and spewing into our yard. I didn't know it was happening through a snowstorm, and as the snow began to melt, I could see the layer of sewage beneath it. Again I called my insurance company, and again he came out.

After about 30 seconds he came into my house, said my insurance wouldn't cover it and asked for his money. I told him my insurance would have to call me to deny the claim and I wanted them to explain why it wouldn't be covered. He nervously said okay and then proceeded to tell me all of the reasons he couldn't get his equipment back into my yard and how difficult it would be. He said it was a safety hazard to himself and that I would have to shovel all of the snow around the entire area. He also said that he may be able to come back next week, but couldn't help me today. He then recommended another company, Kline's. He said they would be able to do it, but not him.

Sure enough I spoke to my insurance company. ""Well ma'am the plumber is saying there are foreign objects causing the problem, so we can't cover it."" Foreign objects???

After I spoke to my insurance company, with him standing right next to me, he began to say ""I'm not trying to get out of it, I just..."" and I said ""Yes, you are. You have been trying to get out of it since you arrived. I don't care if it will be difficult, there is sh*t running into my yard! I have two dogs and a small child! You didn't even clear the clog, how could you possibly know what is causing it? How could you know it was a foreign object? What if the pipe has roots or is frozen?"" ""Well, you wouldn't be covered then. Or it could be sludge, and that takes a few hours."" ""Yes, but how do you know? And I don't care how long it takes."" I then politely asked him to leave, as he was finished doing absolutely nothing. Again.

I called Kline's, they came right out. Their equipment fit fine and there was no mumbling or grumbling about the snow or the fact that we live in Lancaster City.

I am very upset I had to waste money for him to do nothing. NEVER CALL THEM. EVER. NEVER EVER.
