Going off of the good reviews here I called and spoke to George. I asked for an estimate on installing a water softener. He asked one question of me and I didn't even get to finish my sentence. He cut me off and basically called me an idiot and said I didn't understand his question. Based on the 2 good reviews I went into the conversation ready to just have him do the work... but after his rant about how I didn't understand anything and not letting me get a word in edge wise it was clear he didn't want my business.

I really like George Beland, unlike a lot of other tradesmen (in Bozeman, and everywhere) he answers his phone or returns your call if he can't. He shows up on time (or early, so be ready!) and he came in under estimate. He was very helpful in guiding me to the best local source for materials (a nice wall-mounted hand-held shower) in Bozeman, Keller Supply, where all the pros go, and who put my order on George's account so I could benefit from his professional discount. He just incorporated the materials cost into his charges to me, easy-peasy.

His work was perfect, he cleans up afterwards, he's quick, and required relatively little lead time. Thanks George!

George Beland is a top-notch master plumber. He is smart, thorough (yet fast), honest (!), has a lot of integrity & works hard for customers...is not burned out (like a lot of other plumbers in town), or trying to sell you more services than you need (like replacing your toilet instead of fixing it). Has been a plumber for almost 20 years but just began working for himself 4 years ago.
