It was Sunday evening, one of the rainiest days of the year. Our patio was completely flooding over, and the grimy water was getting into our house. We were panicking, and we called the fire department to help. Meanwhile, I ran off to Home Depot with my next-door neighbor to get a water pump, a snake and a Wet/Dry Vac. As the firefighters were trying to figure out what to do, and we were desperately pumping out small amounts of water, Joe Ramirez of B&B Plumbing happened to be driving by. The firefighters flagged him down, and he went straight to work on our outdoor drain -- which was clogged with years worth of dirt, debris and neglect. He used an industrial-strength snake that we couldn't have bought at Home Depot. And sure enough, he dug through the collected mud and clog and it all came running out onto the wet street. The water level in our patio quickly started going down, and we were relieved that the whole house was not flooded. Thanks to Joe Ramirez and B&B Plumbing, the damage to our home was pretty minimal. And he never asked for a penny in return. This company is doing a great job for people in need! Thank you!

I work for a local Fire Agency and with the heavy rains we were called to a home for a flooding. Long story short we didn't have the tools to fix the problem and were getting soaked in the rain attempting to clear clogged drains with a snake that was inadequate. I saw a random plumber driving down the street, Jose Ramirez, and asked if he had a snake we could use. He stopped and helped us for about 40 minutes in the middle of a rainstorm and cleared the home owner clogged drain pipes and saved his house from completely flooding. Jose was a life saver for this home owner and never asked for a dollar in return. I was very impressed and I told him I'll be calling him to my house in the future...

If you have someone that you really dislike, make sure that you send them to B&B plumbing. I called B&B to fix or replace the mechanism that sends the water to the showerhead or to the spout of my bathtub. The guy came over finally and stayed about 5 hours and couldn't fix it. Luckily, I purchased the mechanism at Home Depot just in case he didn't carry it with him. He didn't even have a ladder to check the outside of the opening on the second story. He hammered on the mechanism for 5 hours until I insisted that I speak to the owner's son by phone. The owner's son sent Jose Ramirez over and Jose was able to cap it and then came over the next day to fix it. The owner said that he wouldn't charge me for the first day but I was charged for a bill of around $700.00 dollars and got a crying wife. I tried to get a hold of the owner but he wouldn't answer the phone. I have used this same company 4 or 5 times, but the old guys that were there before are gone. I wonder why? Never again! I had a slab leak and my insurance company only covered one pipe but I decided to reroute 3 since they were all in the same footing and I didn't want to have to go through this again in the future, and a friend recommended ""Brian from the gym."" So I went up to Brian the next morning (yes I violated gym etiquette and interrupted his sets, but this was an emergency!) and asked if his office could call me and that very same day Alayna from B&B called and set up an appointment for someone to come out. They gave me a very fair quote and I hired them. They were prompt and tidy and one of them even sang a little Jimmy Buffett while he worked. Happy employees do good work I always say. They also installed a faucet and fixed my shower handle which I thought should have been finished that first day but they had to come back the next day and they charged another trip charge. But the pipe reroute was such a good price I didn't complain. A few days later there were reverb noises coming from one of the pipes and when I called they came right out and fixed it because my drywall was going in the next day. They were also very quick in providing the paperwork my insurance company needed to reimburse me. That's great service! Thanks Brian, job well done and you have my repeat business. I'm a happy customer.

We had a leak in our main water line and we were able to get them out same morning before we left on vacation to take a look. They were very detailed and offered a better quote than another company in the area and provided a comfort level they were the right ones to do the job. It is clear the team cares about their customers. They scheduled us for the Monday after we returned and fixed our line in 1 day while others said it could take two days! We are very pleased with the service and will recommend them to others!

Joe came by to what was believed to be just a leak in the garbage disposal. Turned out to be a crack in the housing and had to be replaced. The work was done quickly and Joe was nothing but a professional. He was friendly, knowledgeable and all around great guy. I will keep using B and B for any plumbing needs.

I will TRY and make this short - but it won't be.

We had what we THOUGHT was just a clogged kitchen line. We decided to go with B&B plumbing because of their support and contributions to our high school's football program. After calling, They sent ""Joe"" and another person out to clear our drain. After working quite a while, they were unable to clear the stoppage with their conventional methods. Joe was VERY knowledgeable, courteous and CLEANED EVERYTHING after this initial visit. After which, he explained to us our lateral line was unable to be cleared and would have to be REPLACED - which meant cutting into the concrete foundation, digging out the old cast iron pipe and replacing it. Joe said it wasn't his place to give the estimate for the job, but gave us a ""ball-park"" figure. After the initial shock of what this could cost, I asked if it would save time AND money if I were to demo the area myself. This included tearing out the cabinetry, and removing the drywall to gain access to the area they needed to work. He said estimates were based on hourly prices for the plumbers and anything I could do to eliminate their time would help in the cost. This was on a Thursday and Joe said they were pretty much booked on Friday. If I didn't want to be charged a premium for weekend work, it would have to wait until Monday. No kitchen sink and no bathroom sink for three days. Joe called into the office and asked what we should be billed for that days work. For the amount of time they had spent there and for what they had to do, the price was extremely fair. The big cost was coming later.

When B&B showed up on Monday, I had the cabinets removed, tile was torn up in the area and the drywall was removed from the wall. I even removed the shower anticipating they would have to do it. (Mistake). B&B came in, cut the concrete, dug up the old pipe and had re-plumbed the whole lateral line, in just about 8 hours. There work was TOP NOTCH and even if you are not a plumber, you can tell they know what they are doing. And once again, they were VERY CLEAN. Keep in mind, they had a concrete saw cutting our foundation and had to dig up the old pipe. These guys were GREAT. I had found out later Joe, our original plumber, did not work this job. He was scheduled somewhere else. This tells me B&B knows the importance of keeping jobs CLEAN!

After completing the work that day, my wife wrote the check. After going thru the invoice, I thought they MAY have overcharged us for the work performed. I called B&B and spoke with Brian. Brian said he actually came by the job that day, saw what needed to be done. In speaking with him later, we discussed what the workers actually performed, the amount of time his workers were on the job and what I had done to get the job ready. Brian said he would re-evaluate our invoice. Brian had contacted me later and offered a partial refund for the effort performed. We had discussed the amount and both came to an agreement. It was an odd scenario since I believe I had helped out in doing part of the demo and actually how long the workers worked on our job. In the end, I was EXTREMELY happy with the work they performed, and what wound up being the final price. I received a check from B&B within the week!!!

If you're looking for a plumbing CONTRACTOR, I would highly recommend B&B. When I say CONTRACTOR, I mean just that. They MAY not be the cheapest, but they are NOT going to advertise in craigslist either. B&B is LEGIT. Don't trust your plumbing issues with someone who rents their snake or any other equipment. Plumbing issues can turn serious, and if you own your home, you want someone who is a professional and who knows how to do the work.
