Since taking over Aztec Plumbing, Inc. in 2002, we have concentrated on plumbing services rather than construction. We have aimed to be the best in plumbing home services, and with a strong management team, we have made that a reality! We offer same-day solutions for leaks, drain blockages, water heater replacements, and whole-house water filtration, among other services. In essence, we cover everything a homeowner might need.

Our reputation for excellence is built on our commitment to providing timely, respectful, and professional service with every interaction!

Today, Aztec is proud to employ close to 50 staff members and is known as the employer of choice in our market, providing a living wage, health benefits, retirement savings, and more!

Starting January 1st, we proudly became the first tobacco-free company in the plumbing sector!

I grew up in the Boston area as the youngest of six, in a competitive household that fostered a robust work ethic. I financed my college education and embarked on my first business venture at 24. Aztec is our second successful business, and we genuinely enjoy providing essential services to our community. Our mission is to excel in customer satisfaction, employee happiness, and overall company success.

I called Aztec Plumbing to clear my slow running drains. They determined that the blockage was in my main waste line and cleared one of them. The next day Aztec found that there was and second blockage in the line but refused to remove it unless I paid a second charge for them to complete the job.

A cooper pipe broke outside the house while I was preparing a splash party for my son's BD. The plumber came in on time but they were not prepared for the job. I called and clearly explained the issue to the rep that answered the phone (broken copper pipe, outside of the house, needed soldering, a real simple job), the plumber came with no propane (or whatever gas they use to solder copper pipes) and had to go to Home Depot to get a new tank. Later, the technician said that in order to dry the pipes they needed to insert bread (yes bread) into the pipe to absorb the water. They were unable to get the piece broken pipe out of the main line so the plumber went to Home Depot again to get some 'fittings' he was missing to work on an alternative. Because he was not able to get the broken piece of pipe out of the main line he wanted to cut the whole thing and put a new pipe through the concrete which would have been thousands of dollars and hours if not days worth of work. He was away for almost an hour. At this point my neighbor from across the street came in with his tools, removed the broken pipe and got the job done in less than 10 minutes, all this in front of the baffled plumber, he even made fun of the whole 'bread to dry the pipes' situation. The plumber's name is not clear to me, the van said """"Paul', the shirt said 'Brian' and when he was talking to my neighbor(the one that actually fixed the problem) he said his name was David. The worse part is that after hours of dealing with this BS I had to pay for 'the visit' $176.00. I Have been trying to reach their HQ to tell them about my experience and see if I could get the visit fees refunded for 2 days, at least partially, but they do not have the decency to give me a call back. One start is more than what this company deserves.

We had to call for an emergency repair. Jason called and came in a very timely fashion to repair a pipe that broke under our bathroom sink. His repair was quick and well done! I would highly recommend Aztec Plumbing!

I contacted Aztec plumbing to replace my condo water heater. I saw the same water heater at Home Depot for under $400 and as I have replaced over a dozen water heaters (including a tankless model) I felt I had a good idea what was involved. The young man arrived and inspected the job. I did ask for a additional main water shut off valve to be installed as the original one was very difficult to reach. He was using an iPad to calculate the charges and at no point did he show me the screen or print it out for me to see. He announced that the cost would be $2246 (the extra valve installation charge was $285). I was in the process of remodeling and needed to get this water heater replaced quickly so I accepted the outrageous charge. The work was done satisfactorily. I am making this negative review to warn others of the predatory nature of this business. Afterwards my neighbor told me her identical water heater was replaced for $500. My usual practice is to get 3 bids for every job.

John explained the problem and repaired it fine. I thought the cost was too high for a simple repair. $260 for less than an hour and parts for a new hose bib.

Chris arrived at the beginning of the time window i was given! ( same day as call was made). He was able to identify the problem, provided estimates and located the water heater we needed. He was able to install it same day! I highly recommend Aztec plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

Lied to me about pricing, and overcharged me. Over 1000 for a faucet. Considered legal action, but life is too short. Stay away.

WAY OVER PRICED!!! Had O ring and flange replaced on toilet at the same time!! I think the parts maybe cost $50. The repair man was here for 2 hours. CHARGED $680. Gave us a $50 coupon deduction!! Big deal!! I will not be calling this company again!!!

I called for a slow draining toilet and washer draining into utility sink. After six plumber visits over a two week period and spending $3820, I spent my Sunday mopping bathroom floors from overflowing toilets. I'd suggest finding a company that follows up with more than a request for a review.
