BEWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION - - Don't let them push you into the we need to send someone to come out - - We had an emergency situation with a water heater that needed to be replaced They provided a quote 2X the cost of 2 other plumbers - - Took advantage and tried to price gouge us !! Steve T the owner says he runs an ethical business in the companies profile - - I don't see that !!

We had a garbage disposal lead, so we called Aztec Plumbing. We decided to have our faucet replaced as well. A few days later, we noticed our dishwasher was not draining. We called an appliance repair company and they said the problem was that whoever installed the disposal did not remove a plug that should be removed from the disposal when the customer has a dishwasher. I would think any plumber should know that. Not at all happy.

Michaela, In response to you comment to my post, since your office had this info and pics about the sewer line, your tech who was there before for the same problem a year ago and pulled out roots at that time should've known, even more so of what to expect! The tech did a half assed job! how come the second tech was able to clear the roots, in one visit??? I'll tell you why, to generate billing, bill the customer again for the same service we didn't do right the first time! I know all about the sewer line, I've had several customers with problems like this in the northeast, It becomes a maintenance issue where the line should be snaked out yearly. I'm ok with that. It was the techs lack of persistence probably compounded by the need to get to the next job that left me with paying twice for the same job and substandard work! if you were a reputable company, you would refund the 2nd billing of 239.00 or, even had not billed it the 1st time! That's why my post is here to let other people know how of how Aztec operates, and to avoid using you scam artists.

I called Aztec plumbing for a price to install a new vanity. Ron was friendly and gave me a price to install new vanity of about 1100.00 plus dollars. I did sign the report but never had them do the work. He mentioned it would take all day to complete. After he left I cut the wall to move plumbing into wall. He wanted to cut a hole in the bottom of the 1,000.00 vanity with soft close doors. Cutting the wall to install the new plumbing took me about 1 3/4 hours not all day. The materials he included were 2ft. of water hose 1/2 in. 3 elbows, and a small piece of 1 1/2 white pipe. The total cost was about 15.00 dollars. I then called the office to talk to Holly and sent an email so another client doesn't have to deal with this type of business. She then sent me to the service manager and he still has not got back to me. They don't care and really read all the comments on the web they are true. I am a General manager and wouldn't let this happen at our rv dealership. They want you to sign quote and that's alright but it is inflated to a price 400 times what it is worth. They don't follow up or answer emails that is for sure. Please Beware and check around before starting work on your house.

Way, way too expensive to use them. No comment on service as I would not submit to their pricing.

These guys are scam artists. So I bought a house in Ft Myers that had their Enviro Water System costing over $1000.00 already installed. Their website says this system will """"improve your water quality"""" and that it's """"Backed by a lifetime warranty on parts, tanks & Envirosoft™ Media"""" The first day I moved in and had help from 5 friends they all said the water smelled horrible when they washed their hands from different sinks in different rooms. I also smelled a horrible sulfur smell. So I called Aztec and they sent a guy out who basically blamed me. He said that the sulfur smell was my fault because the house was empty for a month without the water being used. This was the most inane thing I have ever heard. I've lived in homes for 60 years, travelled extensively for months at a time, and never smelled sulfur on returning home. This same tech then proceeded to open every faucet for over 30 minutes and wasted water that I had to pay for claiming problem was solved. He then attempted to coerce me into signing a service agreement and if I didn't they would never come out again. So much for the lifetime guarantee, right? Well a few days after he left the water was stinky again. Now I have to call someone else and will probably rip out their stupid system, which if you read reviews online, the Enviro system has crap reviews. I even contacted Enviro who has headquarters in central Florida and they basically blew me off too. Aztec is now running ads on TV. Good for them. You've been warned so don't blame me when they screw you like I got screwed. And if the owners of Aztec read this, please don't send me some insulting response like """"Please call us so we can discuss"""". I've called to speak to you 3 times and emailed you twice. All I got were excuses on how you weren't available and no offer was made to take my name and number so you could call me back. Seems like employees who answer the phone have been trained to deflect, deflect, deflect rather than offer real help. Goodbye and good luck Aztec.

On the phone, they said they would determine the problem free of charge. Upon arrival, there was a $150 """"diagnostics"""" fee. Fine. Then they told us the issue and said the total to fix it was $159. Go ahead. Once it was fixed, all of a sudden the total to fix it was $250. Completely unprofessional and all around deceitful.

long story short was told by aztec it would be 1700.00 to clear drain. called proteck in port charlotte fl cost was 430.00.

Rip off; installed toilet in another condo and tried to charge us. They were rude and I would never use them.

Aztec used to have my confidence in their professionalism and work ethic, however that all changed months after the re-pipe of my home. We met with Nate after having discovered a leak in our home and he presented a proposal to replace ALL of the copper to the fixtures with the flexible PVC piping (and we needed a water heater that was part of the order but not where our problem lies). The re-pipe seemed to have gone as smoothly as quickly as stated. It was months later when we were remodeling our master bathroom and had to replace COPPER lines to the fixtures. That's when we discovered that not ALL of the copper had been replaced and was advised by a different Aztec technician (for a different leak issue) that to have the copper replaced to the fixtures, well, """"That would've cost extra."""" When Aztec called for the 6 month follow up, I advised them that I never wanted them in my home again after the re-pipe job and a customer service manager was going to call me about it. That call never took place. I had the utmost confidence and respect for Steve and his Staff at Aztec Plumbing until this experience and refuse to ever allow them access to my home - or trust - again. I recommend you get ALL details in writing AND have someone check their work if you decide to task them with a re-pipe job.
