Worse company ever. They make a bigger problem out of the simplest fix and in the end leave you with a bill and a unresolved issue. Run away as fast as you can.

I really wish I had looked at the reviews before having them come to my home. Our home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty) sent these contractors to fix a plumbing stoppage- after coming out taking our money they lied to us. They said it was not covered under our warranty and it would cost another $200. They said they called our warranty company and they did not. He said he didn't have a snake to clear the pipes and another rep from AZ plumbing would come out. ALL LIES. We had to call our warranty company who sent out a different company. This company is awful.

Horrible experience, they were the vendor that the home warranty I have was sending out after confirming and then calling back one before the threshold window expired they assured me they would be here! Waited another two house and called again only to learn they weren't coming and would guarantee us to be the first appointment on Monday in spite of they failure they needed to honor Monday's appointment while clearly my appointment was not a priority! Don't waste your time with this company! Now I don't want them in my house

I really wish I had looked at the reviews before having them come to my home. Our home warranty company (First American Home Warranty) sent these contractors to fix a broken disposal- after coming out twice we now have a disposal that doesn't work and our kitchen sink leaks! UPDATE: WOKE UP TO A FLOODED KITCHEN! This company did not come out and fix the problem as they stated and are not calling back. I have called on the cell phone that was given to me by this company to respond and have not heard anything back. Now we have a sink disposal with uncovered wires sitting in water that is all over the kitchen. Simon the regional director has not returned a call- very upset with the service of this company! UPDATE: Simon texted and called back after we had the kitchen issues. He had his technician come back to our home and fix the problem. We reported these issues to 1st American (our home warranty company) and requested another plumber come out to our home and inspect the issues we originally reported and check handiwork from AZ... the garbage disposal and new sink pipes. The new plumber (who had a 4 star yelp rating) approved the work of the disposal but said that the toilet and bath had significant leaking. He was able to show me where the leaks were (very obvious once he showed me) and commented that the AZ technician (who had come out 3 times) should have been able to see those also. We will not use this company again but I am upping the stars from a 1 to a 3 because Simon did get the technician to get back out the next day.

I was assigned Az thru my AHS home warranty. The tech was a late but when he arrived he diagnosed a bad contactor and capacitor on my AC. He replaced them and added a little refrigerant and the system has been working fine now. It has been 2 wks and no problems

This is probably one of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with. No AC for 5 days. Set the appointment on a Friday for them to come out on Monday. Tech didn't show up because I was told that he allegedly was rushed to the hospital and they had to reschedule. Tuesday tech didn't show up because he got into a car accident which seems to be the familiar story on this thread. Called them 4 times that day because my family was so uncomfortable from the heat as well as my four pets. Finally, after insisting, I was able to speak to a supervisor named Paul. He claimed he spoke to the owner, but could not do anything until the next day despite my desperate pleas. He ended up hanging up on me. AHS NEEDS TO FIRE THIS SCAM RIP OFF ARTIST CONTRACTOR.

This company was contacted through our insurance company (American Home Shield) to fix our AC, however, all 3 of the appointments we had with them were cancelled and rescheduled without even notifying us. We had an appointment with AZ Plumbing, etc. on Monday, 9/18 and was told the technician would call us about 20 mins before he arrives. My husband never got a call and when he called to find out what was going he was told it would be rescheduled. My husband requested a new appointment between 3pm-6pm Tuesday, 9/19 and that time was confirmed. He left work early to be there for the tech then found out the appointment was again rescheduled without notification. We now have a 8am-1pm appointment for Wednesday, 9/20 however this time we were told that the technician got into a car accident and would be out of work for 2 months and we were rescheduled again for Friday, 9/22. We have now called AHS to request a different company to repair our AC. We have tenants that are unable to stay in the place because the heat is unbearable and this company hasn't come out a single time during the 3 appointments we've confirmed with them. Now after reading all the other reviews with the same experiences I'm not even quite sure how this company is in business. Very strange.

If I could give a worse rating I would! I've had them out 4 times and they change the appointment times every time! Yesterday it was 10-3 he showed up at 9:15 at night! Then he only checked the one ac unit and said it's working all he did was clean the coils and add refrigerant. So today I called the manager and he said tell your warranty company you want a different company to come out he was so rude to me! I would never recommend this company!

My air conditioner was working fine, cooling as it should, but started leaking water from the air handler. I submitted a service request through my home warranty company, American Home Shield (AHS). They assigned my request to AZ Remodeling & Plumbing (Licence CAC1815885). When the technician arrived, he cleared the drain line, then went outside and disconnected the wiring to the equipment outside. He told us that we needed a new compressor, wrote it on the service slip, and left. Our air conditioner would no longer work after that. Being that it is August in Florida and we were in the midst of an even hotter than usual heat wave, after 3 days without AC the temperature in the house was unbearable. Since the unit was working fine before the technician disconnected it, we decided to reconnect the wiring to the outdoor equipment. Sure enough, once the wiring was reconnected, the unit kicked on and cooled the house just as it should. In the meantime, AHS received the claim from the technician to replace the compressor. They called me to notify me that the claim was approved and that they would cover the cost of the compressor but I would be responsible for the $500+ cost for the refrigerant. I informed them that my compressor was working fine and that I believe the technician was trying to scam them and me into unneeded repairs. AHS told me that they must take the technicians diagnosis and if I do not agree to the repair, my warranty coverage on the AC unit would be and void. I then contacted Simon Leizgold at AZ Remodeling & Plumbing. He told me that he would get a hold of the technician to look into the matter. He called me back the next day to tell me that the technician had made a simple data entry error on his mobile device because the fields are so small, entering the notes from the previous call into my notes field. Although that sounds like a reasonable excuse, it is clearly not true. I explained to Simon that the technician disconnected the wiring, told us that our compressor was bad, hand wrote it on our service slip, and then left us for days without a working AC unit. It looks like an obvious attempt to make a simple clogged drain line into a much more costly repair. Simon apologized and promised to make the correction with the AHS claims department. Although I do appreciate that Simon was responsive to my complaint, I feel that had we not known enough about air conditioning and reconnected the wires ourselves, we could have easily become victims of this repair service scam.

Beware. Tried to scam us as contracted vendor via American Home Shield warranty and went a month back and forth with no AC in the meantime. Realized to have AHS send someone else in time who fixed minor problem one day after my call and in 15 minutes with a covered part. AZ went back and forth for one month and tried to say we had to replace major parts and pay 1200 out of pocket. Seems like a pattern, huh? I'll also be looking into concers with AHS. Please don't let this happen to you.
