I recently bought a house and, during the inspection, the sewer line failed because of tree roots. I knew after I moved in that replacing the sewer line was a top priority. I got bids from eight companies, and Axiom was the lowest. That's not why I went with them, though. One company told me the entire water line would need to be replaced from the house to the street for an additional $2,500. Axiom told me if I paid to have the utilities located by a private locator (it cost $140 and was easy to set up), if they hit the water line, they'd fix it for free. I did that, and they didn't hit the water line or the gas line, even though both were within inches of the sewer line and they had to hand-dig much of the project. In addition, every other company I got bids from said the job would be at least two days; one said three days. Axiom was the only company to say they could do it in a day, and they did. As I type this, it's 3:45 p.m. and they're just wrapping up the job. They did crumple a piece of my gutter, but they hammered it back into shape and put it back. It's not perfect, but considering all that could've gone wrong on this project, I'm totally okay with it. I would definitely recommend Axiom, and if I ever have to have a sewer line replaced in the future, they'll be my only call.

Responded to my request in a very short time. Responded to say they did not provide the service I needed. Provided information about another service who could. Not sure what Axiom actually does, but very much appreciate the quick and helpful response. Communication is tops. I recommend them, whatever they do.

Avoid this contractor at all costs. They bid low but it shows when it comes to their professionalism and integrity. After contractor hit gas line (where they weren't supposed to be using mechanical excavation methods), the field workers admitted to hitting it. The next day the crew changed their story and the office staff became very rude. One month after the sewer repair I received a change order for the additional work. DO NOT HIRE. My advice to anyone looking to repair their sewer - Find a contractor accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

This team has great customer service, is honest and up front before they begin the work. They got in and out in two days and made sure to keep all of their work as consolidated as possible. They had to cut a hole in my driveway and I could barely tell they were ever there after leaving. I had some unexpected sewer work come up after buying my first home and their team was very mindful of the stress and money situation after buying a new house. Would definitely recommend.

Where to begin?

We close today, we called Axiom on Wednesday three weeks ago, they scheduled us for the following Monday. They got here and found that our sewer was a nonconforming sewer line that would need to be replaced. At every step of this project, someone at Axiom explained what they were looking for, why, and what it meant. We were also given the tools to contact the city to verify this was an issue and not Axiom upselling.

Needless to say, this freaked us out, we wanted to close today and the issues with our sewer only delayed the work by a week, that was for permits. What I appreciated most about Axiom's work isn't the work itself, I will never see it really and I trust the sewer will work and I have no idea what to look for, it looked like a pipe and the water leaves the house. What they did is patiently take calls, sometimes multiple calls a day, of us, freaking out because we had like 10 days to close. They acted as and became part of the team selling our house, they worked like it was their house they were trying to close on.

The price was more than fair, the work was quick and quality. We had such a weird series of things working against us: a nonconforming sewer line we didn't know about, they had about 28 inches to work with to dig 11 feet down, a neighbor who is kind but didn't really want their yard disrupted and they made it work and, they even reseeded my crappy lawn where they dug, the yard, the sidewalk and the street all look great and good as new.

I hope I never, ever have to get sewer work done again, ever. If I do, if anyone ever asks for advice about sewer repair, I will only recommend Axiom - they looked out for us, hustled to get the work done to save our closing date and the crew that was here was so kind, professional, and also acted as therapists, cheerleaders and just all-round good people to have do work.

Seriously, if you need work done, this is the company that will work with and for you.

I am shocked to see positive reviews of this company on here. We had a very weird experience with Rob today. He came to bid a job and initially started off telling us way too much personal information about his family. He was saying weird things. He then went on a 30 plus minute rant about how the houses in our area were built. He was very patronizing. He said it would be a spot job ""very easy, no problem. Can be done in a day"" based on video footage of a sewer scope and then after wasting two hours talking to us he started drumming up all these reasons it was going to be ""very"" expensive and ended up quoting us $4,000 more than any other company. He fabricated additional issues which were not confirmed by an independent sewer scope we had done the following day. Worst experience getting a bid I have ever had. Would not recommend unless you want to be taken advantage of and waste two hours of your day.

Axiom and their crew recently installed a new sewer pipe from our house to the city hookup prior to us selling the house. Their work ethic was apparent from the beginning to end, the pricing was best bid we received, and Rob's care and willingness to think outside the box when their boring machine ran into rocks making it look like the project would be much harder than originally imagined. In the end, they completed the project pretty much on time, for the price agreed upon, and with minimal disruption to our landscape. Axiom should be your first call for excavation, trenching, sewer repair, etc.
