This company is HORRIBLE. I called Turnabout when our toilet tank wasn't getting filled up because of a frozen pipe and the guys from AWS showed up. The problem was easy to diagnose (I even suspected it), and they changed the valve and told us to put a heater in the room to fix the problem. The pipes are in the exterior wall and could not be reached. Despite the heater being on all day, the problem wasn't fixed. The guys would not leave until we paid close to 400 DOLLARS. FOR WHAT? To fix the fill valve and diagnose a problem we already knew about? When I called the service manager Bobby to complain he said that that's standard pricing for them. He said they charge $300 an hour and since the guys stayed for close to 1.5 hours (doing nothing basically), they charge the amount they did. We have used Turnabout six months ago and it was solid, but the new management isn't nearly as competent or customer friendly. Their prices are ridiculously high. Now, they don't bill anymore and demand that you pay right away. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

BEWARE THEY ARE RIP OFFS!!!
When you call Turnabout an AWS truck shows up they must be new owners.I have used Turnabout for about 30yesrs and have always like them. They have sold and the new owners have a very different price range. I wanted 2 bathtubs and a bathroom sink snaked, they were draining slow.They wanted to charge me $1100 cash. Then when we said no way the serviceman wanted $159.00 for the estimate. Called another local plumber and the job cost $175. Beware of their prices unless your a millionaire!!!!

Use any air conditioning company other than this one. We had A/C work done in our home, not only was it faulty, but the customer service was awful. We found it hard to believe that anyone could be treated this way, let alone decent, paying customers. They must not care about their company or their reputation because they will certainly go out of business the way they are operating. Recently we came in contact with two other former customers of AWS, and they had similar experiences. In fact, one of them reported the company to the Better Business Bureau. We have not done that yet, but maybe it's a good idea. The worst part is, their customer service department seemed to take pleasure in lying and giving a run around to clients. Do yourself a favor and find another company, certainly anyone else would be better to deal with than these people.

I've had good and disappointing experiences with AWS over the years. A few years ago, my boiler broke down and flooded the house at 10 p.m. on a Saturday. AWS sent a plumber right over and fixed the problem and later replaced the boiler at a reasonable price. Great! Fast forward a few years and when I called AWS for an estimate for additional work, I was given an 11-1 appointment window. AT 1pm the day of my appointment, I got a call from the office that the estimator would arrive between 1 and 2. No Good! So I rescheduled for the following week for the same appointment window (11-1). At 12:30 I received a call that the estimator would be 1-1.5 hours late. WHAT??? If these guys can't arrive during the designated appointment time, how can I be sure that they'll fulfill their work in a timely/expected manner? I've given 3 stars because of my previous great experience with AWS, but I'm really disappointed in their ability to keep to appointment times.

Buyer Beware!!! Buyer Beware
AWS has performed oil to gas conversion in my house about a year ago. The person who came and gave an estimate mentioned that all existing pipes that going to the broiler and water heater would be replaced. IT WAS NOT... pipes going to the water heater completely rusted. I wish I could upload pictures. Now, I called them to fix this and they used the famous line ""It was not in the contract"". Don't give these scum bags your business!!

This company fails to follow up. They try to scam you. I have had a contract for service for both my heating unit and a/c. They fail to send you our agreements and then when requested you are told you do not have one for your A/C. Despite the fact you had one in previous years. If you speak to Nancy make sure to write everything she tells you down or ask permission to tape her. She conveniently forgets past conversations. Stay clear away from this company

Great people to work with. Brian not only provided very competitive pricing for the mini-split system I asked but he also provide different installation options for me to consider. I don't get this from other companies I interviewed. Due to where my 3rd bedroom was located it was difficult to install the unit while not having exposed duct work outside of the house. Brian & Team patiently work with me to consider different placement of the units and route the wiring and eventually able to run most of the duct work through the attic. Casandra (sp?) the assistant is always there when called and follow through on my request and worked out an appointment that fits my schedule. The installation crew was great as well working diligently in the attic under dangerous heat and managed to complete all work on time. They kept the work site clean, took away all garbage and even vacuumed after the work is done. Overall, I am very happy with the service provided begin to finish.

Buyer Beware! Complete Scam. Our air conditioning wasn't working. Technician said we had a leak in our system but that it would be like trying to find a needle in the haystack. Suggested instead that we get a whole new system at cost of $5,000.00! in addition to what we already paid in service calls (to determine we had a hole hidden somewhere in the system). Got second opinion. There was NO hole. AWS totally scammed us. Second a.c. contractor was able to get our a.c. running again. Stay FAR FAR away from these people.

Awesome company to deal with! - I needed a new condenser unit for my townhouse, and AWS got the job done quickly and easily! - I did some price comparisons and they were better than most - A very special shout-out to Cassandra; she worked super hard to make sure my job was fit in to an already-full schedule! - I would highly recommend this company!
