Guy (owner, didn't get name) said he would come by Mon. or Tue (few weeks ago) for estimate, never called or showed up so I texted him, no apology then said could probably come by today, never showed or contacted me again. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WASTED MY TIME!

Had him scheduled for a minor repair, didn't show, didn't call. When I called, he gave me a window, maybe Tues or Wednesday....but I had enough and found someone that is reliable and shows up for appointments.

I called Lucien once again to do some things around my Arizona home and my son's home, and once again, he did not disappoint! He made an appointment, arrived right on schedule, and did all the work meticulously. This time he put together a new computer desk that came in a million pieces, changed some light switches, replaced and patched some drywall, installed a towel bar, and created a pass through for wires from one room to the next. All of the work that he does is accomplished quickly, neatly and with the utmost care to ensure that it's done the right way the first time! The fact that his talents are so diversified makes it a pleasure to have him come to my home where I can prepare a list from which he can tackle carpentry, plumbing, electrical problems and just about any other tasks I can think of. Lucien's prices are extremely reasonable and he has been a true find in the handyman category.

We needed a few things done before installing a new closet system in one of the bedrooms. Checked out Yelp, and called Awesome Home Repair. Lucian was extremely courteous and accommodating. In fact, he was able to squeeze us in in time to beat the closet installation.

We needed a couple of can lights, motion sensing switch and some electrical outlets, moved. It seems like it should be simple, but cutting into drywall, locating studs, running new wire through walls, etc., is not a quick job. Lucian was very friendly and worked diligently to get the job done and make sure it was right.

If I ever need a handyman service again, the first person I call, will be Lucian.

Lucian wasted no time tackling the job list installing two fans, fixing kitchen cabinetry, replacing a faulty photo sensor all in less time than we thought possible. We are looking for more things to put on a job list and will definitely call Lucian. He is an experienced professional.

Lucien is the best! He made an appointment initially but got tied up and rescheduled in a timely manner. He came over and made many repairs (plumbing, installed light fixtures and repaired sheetrock). All were done in a professional manner and in a good amount of time. He gave me a 10% Veterans discount after noticing my license plate. His plumbing repair was done correctly but once done we noticed another leak down line. He tried to repair at the time without having the correct parts but it did not work. I called and he came back the next week and repaired it - NO CHARGE! even tho it was not in the original scope of work scheduled. I have had him over several times and will not hesitate to recommend or have him for return visits. Thanks Lucien!

Lucien installed a microwave for our home and did a very outstanding job. He is very friendly and works quickly. I would recommend him to anyone that's needs a handy man. The cost of the work was way less than I thought it would be and if your a veteran he will give you a discount. So if you need a handy man Lucien is your guy.

Lucien is everything you want in a handy man. Respectful and professional. I found him through Home Depot and he was able to help me from A to Z with a bathroom remodel. New tiled shower, new vanity install, new toilet and new tile on the floors. All of it done perfectly and quickly. He listened and gave me regular picture updates. Highly recommended!

When I read reviews, I tend to give more weight to those that are positive than negative. That's what I did when I looked at Awesome Home Repair. Unfortunately I should have paid much more attention to the bad reviews, because I find myself echoing Jeff W. and Zuma P. in their comments about this business.

On July 27 I contacted Lucien about a project, and after some discussion, on Aug. 3 we managed to get it scheduled--for Mon., 8/16. He didn't give me a start time and said he would let me know.

When I hadn't heard anything from him by the afternoon of Sun., 8/15, I texted him TWICE to finally receive a reply at 5:39pm that he couldn't come until Wed., 8/18. Then at the end of the afternoon on Tue., 8/17, he texted that he had to put it off again til Thurs., 8/19. When I replied that that would be the last postponement, he declined to do the job.

He shows no consideration for your time, your schedule, or the fact that his may not be the only project that you're trying to schedule--or, as a result of his last-minute postponements, to re-schedule. My advice is BEWARE.
