I had a hidden drain pipe under my kitchen sink leaking in the wall...apparently for a while. I contacted Joe on a Saturday to ask about looking at it. He gave me the option to wait til Monday to save some money since it wasn't an emergency. He arrived on time, found the problem and offered options to get the job done. He completed the work in less than 2 hours and made recommendations to get the area dry. He also fixed the drain output from the dishwasher that had been installed incorrectly.

He was professional and very friendly...and he really knew what he was doing. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

So thankful that I found this company through Yelp! I had a toilet clog (flushed a cleaning product that I quickly realized wasn't supposed to be flushed...) and had no clue how to fix it. I set up an appointment with Joe who was able to come over almost instantly to help me out. He gave me a heads up of what he was going to do to fix the clog, and what he'd have to do if that didn't work. Luckily, Joe was able to snake out the product that was blocking the drain. Before he left, he made sure to test it multiple times with toilet paper, and made sure to give me his number to call in case it was giving me trouble the next few days and he would come back to fix it. Joe was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful! I will definitely use this service again in the future when necessary, and would be happy to recommend this company to anyone.

Joseph is a lifesaver. We were avoiding using our tub because of a small leak. Well you know when you tell teenagers not to do something and they do the complete opposite? Someone decided to take a bubble bath and a small leak turned into huge problem the day before Mother's Day. My husband tried fixing it - to no avail. Hot water was shooting like a geyser towards the ceiling. We ended up having to shut off water to the whole house.

We have a contract with Solv-it, who we called first and they solved nothing. They said they could be here Monday. With toddlers and a Mother's Day brunch planned we were in panic mode. We called many plumbers in Fairfield County. All said Monday or Tuesday. Joseph came out today- figured out the problem - went to get his parts, even found another issue and fixed it all.

Friendly, professional and we can't thank you enough! Highly recommended.

Joe and his sister Patricia are pros. They came highly recommended through the town's FB page and they lived up to all the hype. Patricia said thank you to someone for the recommendation at around 5am and I figured I give it a shot and message her. She replied and stayed in contact instantly. Our house froze up during a power outage and Joe got it thawed and working again. He put in a lot of work and made sure the job was done right. Thank you for all the work you two did.

Being a new(ish) home owner can be challenging as the process of becoming familiar with your home is slow... especially for things like plumbing. Joe took the time, not only to fix three issues in our home, but also educate me a bit more as to nuances of having a well, various means to ensure proper maintenance, in addition to clear lay and explanations of repairs being made behind the walls.

There are the type of service providers who fix the problem, send and invoice and leave asap. Aversa without question fixed the problems, but the time, care and attention he provided with us as new customers was what sets him apart.

I can't say enough about Joe Aversa, Owner of AP&WPS. I needed to get my mother's bathroom toilet fixed ASAP and Joe was the only one to come that evening. He got here @ 5pm, kept his quote, and not only fixed the one toilet, he noticed that my powder room one was not functioning too well and fixed that one too.

Good personality, respected my carpeting, and did an overall great job. He restored my faith in neighborhood contractors.
