Do not use Aux Home service if you want to hire an honest and dependable company. After booking a repair appointment, I was told a dispatcher would be in contact to let me know when someone would arrive. After being left for hours in 90+ degree heat, I called again to ask when someone would be arriving. I was told all technicians were busy but someone WOULD be coming that day. After 6pm that day, I got a call to say no one would be coming but they could rebook the appointment for Monday. I was given no apology for being lied to twice. When I asked why they did not let me know sooner so I could have booked someone else for the job, she did not answer answer the question, only said again """"we can rebook you for Monday"""". If this company lies about showing up for a job, I'm sure they would lie about the repairs needed and over charge as well. This company is not honest and showed they do not care for the safety or health of it's customers.

Our heat wasn't working well on a cold night, so we called this company. The Technician told my wife that our entire HVAC system had to be replaced to the tune of $8,000. We called another company for a second opinion.They told us the HVAC was absolutely fine and there was simply an unconnected part of our backup heat in the attic that needed to be connected. They connected that part and now the heat works fine. I won't ever call Aux again.

Got a call from AUXMECH yesterday morning about a AC unit check as part of a previous service plan .Was told the serviceman was in our area . After some hours of waiting he arrived and did some inside and outside inspection .Because of the in place agreement it was no charge, the tech C.L was professional and the whole visit was about 45 mins. He made a couple of recommendations but not a hard sell and he was on his way. We had only recently gone back with this company after going away from them because after frequent uses of their services no regard for our loyalty or deals and discounts were forthcoming .They seem a little more reasonable now but we shall see over the life of the remaining service contract.

Requested quote for replacing hot water heater on a Saturday, and, after specifically asking if the $49.99 fee was higher on the weekend, and receiving a """"No, it's the same all the time"""", I scheduled a rep. He looked at the water heater, less than five minutes, then wrote a quote for over $3000 to replace heater! Then, he told me the dispatch fee would be $169.99! He lowered that to $140, and said that the dispatcher was probably new and didn't know! I don't know how they stay in business!

Needed a bathroom sink hooked up. Hubby has bad back and cannot lie down long enough at 67. Tech showed up, hooked sink up in less than an hour. $996.00 for a bathroom sink.,.. Pretty sad I have to work almost two 40 hour weeks to pay these people for 1 hours work.

This company is extremely unprofessional and has no urgency for providing their services. I have made 3 different appointments on 3 different days over 2 weeks now. I get put on the schedule only to be cancelled on all 3 times an hour before the work was supposed to be done. The job was very simple too; run an ethernet cable from my modem downstairs, to an office on my second floor. This is crucial for my job, as I am constantly connecting to servers around the state and need a stable wired connection to do so. I have been waiting around for 2 weeks on something that I am required to have for my job. This is unacceptable considering this information was conveyed to them and even acknowledged that it was time sensitive and important to get this done. I will never even attempt to use this service again and will strongly discourage anyone else considering them. 0/5 stars!!!

6/30/16. (AUX Mechanical) I had an emergency situation. The power transfer switch on my generator shorted out and the generated power would not shut off when my main power came back on. I called the after hours emergency line at AUX and left a message at midnight. They never called me back. When I called them the next morning, they told me they had no record of the 3 messages I left them. They then told me it would be the week after July 4th ( 7 days) before they could come and fix the problem. AUX was once a very good company that has now diminished to pathetic service for their customers. The new company I called (Century Heating and Air) was here within 15 minutes, performed a manual override on my transfer switch, which corrected the problem. This took 2 minutes. They then repaired the problem that caused the switch not to electrically override and serviced my unit completely. I have spent thousands of dollars with AUX mechanical over the years but will never use them again. This was a dangerous and emergency situation in which the just left me hanging after several pleas for help. Barry Lanzi

Had their plumbing technician Bobby come by the house to do an annual plumbing inspection. He was very courteous and checked everything quickly and thoroughly. We discussed some options to clean out sewer lines in the future if I wanted to do so. Good inspection and friendly service. I had AUX out in early January to replace my a/c unit. Their installation crew did a great job, were very friendly and explained what they were doing. Very satisfied with their work.

Caleb was professional and very polite and a pleasure to to business with. I never felt pressured and I could sense his honesty and sincerity. He is a very hard worker and stayed with the job until it was complete and made sure that I was informed at every step and that I was completely satisfied with his work and the excellent results. I highly recommend this young man to anyone who is looking for a tech to do their repairs. He respects your home and makes sure it's as clean if not cleaner when he leaves than when he arrives.
