Calling any sort of repair or service business can be a drag, but that is NOT the case with Pat and Brian of Authority Mechanical. They have always been friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly they show up when they say they are going to!

I was first referred to Pat and Brian to take care of an issue of A/C in my home, for which they promptly solved. Fast forward a number of years, they have worked on a number of residential projects for family in the area (heating, electric, a/c, etc). Additionally, this past year we enlisted them to work on heating and a/c for our commercial office renovation in the EG industrial Park.

I'd highly recommend them to anyone! Bonus they are dog-friendly and you will always have a laugh when working with them.

Brian fixed my pool heater. He was so nice and polite and showed me what he was doing and explained everything. Pool heater repair men is not an easy thing to find but I lucked out big time when I found them. I highly recommend Authority Mechanical for all heating and air needs! Very happy customer!

I had a rotted drip pan that was leaking condensation in my AC unit in my access panel in my condo ceiling, and Pat was wonderful to work with. He had great communication, kept his appointments, answered all my questions promptly, and worked hard to get the pan custom made (since the manufacturer does not make them or have blueprints). The pricing was very reasonable compared to others in my building who had similar problems.

I would definitely recommend him and Authority Mechanical.

My AC has been broken for 2yrs. I live way up north in Round Lake and had never had any luck with heating & air guys. One of the guys I work with gave me Brian at Authority's business card and told me how great they are. I was amazed they traveled up by me put within a couple days my air was fixed. Brian was great. Super easy to work with. Very friendly! Didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need & very reasonably priced! I will never go any where else!
