I'm giving rick 5 stars because he was the first plumber to call me back. I had a bathroom sink situation that was beyond my ability. This was on a Sunday, and most all plumbers are closed, including Austin's Best Plumbing. Rick called me early on Monday morning which I really appreciated. I was able to get another, very expensive, plumber to come out on Sunday, but next time, I'll be calling Rick at Austin's Best Plumbing.

Although I've never had a service performed by Austin's Best Plumbing, I felt like I had to write a review because of how sweet and helpful Rick was. He is a one man show, and is quite busy-but he still took the time to return my call, answer my questions and gave me a recommendation for a company that had more people available to take care of my particular problem. He knew immediately what the issue was, gave me an estimate of what a reasonable price would be to fix the problem, and set me up with a great (also local) company that I was very pleased with. Great guy!

The best. Just know that they don't have a staff that answers the phones (which adds to costs) and that's good for you. They are honest, do great work. They are great.

Rick is top notch! He's a one-man operation but is very organized, detailed, and got the job done fast! Installed a kitchen sink faucet and cleared out a bathroom sink clog....all in an hour. Very friendly, courteous, and you cant beat his pricing. Furthermore, his courtesy was appreciated when he called ahead of time to indicate he would be a bit late on our scheduled appt., and he called when he arrived. That's customer service IMO! My landlord will be thankful for his work. I just moved here from Boston, and all I can say, is I now have a plumber on my speed dial. You won't be sorry if you hire this guy.

I recently hired this wonderful gentleman to install three new interiors for my home. I refer to Rick as a gentleman because that is precisely what he is - a complete gentleman. He did a great job with the three toilet repairs, was very fairly priced, and exceptionally pleasant to deal with. DO NOT waste your time with the major plumbing firms.... they are a complete rip off. (One quoted a price three times higher than Rick!!) I could not be more satisfied and highly recommend this firm.

Rick just left. The 5 stars you see from everyone here is no joke. There's no reason to have anyone else in Austin do plumbing work on your house.

I just bought a new house and had some issues with my kitchen plumbing and my dryer vent. Rick was able to fix all of my issues thoroughly, quickly, and at a fair price. He also made sure to run me through several options of how we could fix the issues and let me decide on which option he would do. I'll definitely be using him for all my plumbing work in the future.
