After calling two other big name companies, to replace a broken water valve under my bathroom sink I contacted Austin Area Plumbing. Both the name brand companies showed 24/7 service, but neither could not see me till Monday. I had the water turned off at the main and couldn't see myself and family waiting for three days without being about to turn on the water. Austin Area Plumbing said that they could be at my house within the hour. Blake arrived and said that he could replace both valves in no time. What a relief that was. And he even helped me install the drain.

My tankless water heater froze during the Big Freeze. I tried dealing with other authorized dealers, who did nothing for me. Dennis went out of his way to help me, and even though he wasn't able to repair it (the manufacturer no longer produces the parts), I appreciated the effort. I finally decided to replace the water heater, which he did the very next day at a very reasonable price.

We had our hot water heater finally go out. We called Austin Area Plumbing and spoke to Stephanie. She was very nice on the phone and set us up for Kobe to come by and look at it! Kobe arrived on time, and was vey knowledgeable. He worked up a quote and we like how fair the quote was. We told the to go ahead and get replaced! Kobe got it installed same day and we were back with hot water. Thanks AAP!

Nothing bad about the techs that did the service, they did their job without flaw (so far). My criticism is with I guess customer service or whoever answers their phone/email. Reached out via email for a quote. Was given a specific 'in attic' water heater replacement quote. Was also told if someone was available to assist with getting water heater into the attic we would save $50. I accepted as other quotes were higher. Day of install, arrange for help with water heater only to have 2 guys at my door and be told they didn't need help. So not $50 discount because the girl I talked to claimed nobody would be available to help. False. She never asked. Also told on site there would be an extra $150 elevation fee or something because it was an attic install. WHAT???? Why quote an in attic install and not mention an elevation fee???? The guys were on site and ready to install so we paid, but buyer beware, hidden fees (attic install) and confirm beforehand if someone will be available beforehand if you have help, they will lie and say you said you didn't. The install was done correctly (so far) but not upfront on charges. And yes, I saved the email if she decides to contest.

I love Austin Area Plumbing because their plumbers just seems so much more experienced than what I have seen with other companies. Dennis is a true Master and came to help repair a custom made whole house water filter that another plumber damaged while doing a simple filter change ( causing carbon grains to get into my water lines and into many of my plumbing fixtures). Two other plumbers in the past were "afraid" of the custom made water filter from CA but Dennis was confident enough in his skills to look at it. At the same time he was cautious and didn't just "guess" on how to do things. He called the water filter company in California a couple of times while working on it to make sure he was doing everything 100% correctly. I really appreciate that because he was able to fix it. He then came into the house and cleared all of the faucets that were gummed up with the carbon release. I am sticking with this company because they are masters!

Austin Area Plumbing were terrific! Stephanie stayed in contact with us to adjust appointments as needed. Mycol (Michael), the technician, was able to come out right away and completed work as estimated. The job was quick, and the cost was very reasonable. Mycol showed up on time, was polite, clean and did a fantastic job. We cannot recommend them more, considering the helped during a stressful time after the winter storm. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommend Austin Area Plumbing! We had a slab leak and Dennis came out and quickly to reroute our plumbing to fix the problem. He showed up on time, communicated with us on every step and was super friendly. Hopefully we don't have to deal with any more leaks, but if we do we know who to call!

WOW. 4 months later they reply. They did offer discount but when they don't notify customer not coming and give a insulting reply of maybe I'm coming. Then they post this that I'm having a bad day. Go ahead and schedule with them. Good luck!
