I was very happy with the service on my tank-less Navien water heater. Cobey was on time and very professional. It was refreshing to have someone very knowledgeable about the high-end Navien unit. It is working like new again. I'll be getting regular maintenance service from these guys from now on.

There technician Coby was so disrespectful unprofessional he charged me in 2 hours 1600$ for the repair after 4 minutes closed to burn up the house because of his unprofessional job please stay away from them I'll never ever recommended to no one look at there missed on the pictures and lift the property I called no one answer no good at all

Our water heater busted and was leaking the day before yesterday, but I didn't realize it until after work and after hours. I drained it and shut off the water intake line & gas to keep it sound until we could get someone out. I called Austin Area Plumbing yesterday to get an estimate at about 11:30a on my lunch (I have a very busy work schedule) and Blake Byrd was out to my house within a couple of hours and ON TIME! He was very helpful and efficient, explaining to me what we needed and provided an estimate. He was willing to work with me on getting us what we needed and within our budget. He was patient with me, explaining anything I asked thoroughly and with kindness - which is fairly rare these days in customer service! He got the water heater replaced same day and STILL took the time to show me how to light it and if any emergencies occurred, where the valves were for cut off (even though I probably could have figured it all out on my own, I asked to have him run me through it and he happily did!) and what the process would be. He reminded me it's best to flush it once yearly and that if there is anything at all I needed, to call him and he'd be there to help. Blake Byrd not only won our business yesterday, but I have delightfully found myself a new plumber that is fair, responsive, and helpful and I am just over joyed that I had this experience! My faith is restored!

i was delighted. my propane supplier was impressed when he did safety check.

after last year's big freeze, my ancient tankless heater did not come back to life. Blake installed Rinnai unit. joy! he also replaced faucets and advised that bathtub faucet needed replacing.

after bathtub faucet arrived, i scheduled more time with Blake. some scheduling snafu delayed his appearance by a week or so. there had been more freezing weather so waiting for a drippy faucet was reasonable.

It's November and we just had Dennis back to install a battery backup for our tankless water heater. Last trip here, Dennis let us now there is a HUGO battery backup available for the new Rinnai tankless water heater Dennis installed in February.

The HUGO battery keeps the unit from freezing AND provides water for about five to seven days of hot showers when power goes out again.

After the 2021 ERCOT freeze we decided it was worth the cost of the battery. Dennis installed the battery and a brass flow sensor -- and for MUCH less than the cost of the battery. We are very pleased with the work. Dennis has years of experience, very knowledgeable, honest and professional.

my 5 years old Rinnai tankless heater cannot work with error code 11, i called blake to diagnose, he came 3 times total of 5.5 hours but the issue did not fix, total bill 960 dollars including gas pressure check (273 dollars）gas pressure increase (179.95 dollars), heater clean up by air purge (507 dollars).

i did my last try myself before pay another big bill to replace the whole heater unite, issue got solved by just tying a floating cable to ground myself, which is the instruction from google, i am very disappointed with this long diagnosis, grounding check is in the standard troubleshooting checklist, and the chamber clean up charge is also unreasonable high, it only took one hour to open the cover and purge only, but the bill is 607 dollars.
well, after the big freeze, everything is getting expensive, but the 607 dollars charge for a 1-hour failures diagnosis is still unbelievable.  
Not recommended!

the only happy thing is my fix the issue by myself and avoids another big loss.
hope everyone keeps happy and safe in 2021.

After calling two other big name companies, to replace a broken water valve under my bathroom sink I contacted Austin Area Plumbing. Both the name brand companies showed 24/7 service, but neither could not see me till Monday. I had the water turned off at the main and couldn't see myself and family waiting for three days without being about to turn on the water. Austin Area Plumbing said that they could be at my house within the hour. Blake arrived and said that he could replace both valves in no time. What a relief that was. And he even helped me install the drain.

My tankless water heater froze during the Big Freeze. I tried dealing with other authorized dealers, who did nothing for me. Dennis went out of his way to help me, and even though he wasn't able to repair it (the manufacturer no longer produces the parts), I appreciated the effort. I finally decided to replace the water heater, which he did the very next day at a very reasonable price.

We had our hot water heater finally go out. We called Austin Area Plumbing and spoke to Stephanie. She was very nice on the phone and set us up for Kobe to come by and look at it! Kobe arrived on time, and was vey knowledgeable. He worked up a quote and we like how fair the quote was. We told the to go ahead and get replaced! Kobe got it installed same day and we were back with hot water. Thanks AAP!
