Called on a Monday morning, spoke with Pam. I asked that somebody come by before 1pm. Carl came around 1230. He was friendly, and worked quickly. Fixed a clog in a bathroom sink. Good price. I'd hire him again.

Called two plumbers who never returned my call to install a bathroom sink. We thought it would require moving the P trap. Carl came out within the hour, pulled off the old pipe that had been glued on, installed a new nipple from the wall and showed us how to hook up the rest. He was happy, courteous, informative and assured us we didn't even need a plumber after showing us exactly what we should do to finish it off. He was there perhaps less than half an hour, couldn't have been more helpful and charged a modest amount for his parts and time which I was relieved to pay. We were dreading the multiple hundred dollar hook up charge expected from most plumbers. We asked about the possible leaking icemaker and he gave us advice on that as well. Carl was recommended by another plumber by the way and he will always be our go-to guy. Call him first!

A few years ago we had a leaking water heater. Augusto came out, and without a detailed examination told us we needed a new water heater. I got a second opinion, and it turned out to just need a new outlet valve for very low cost. It is still operating today.

Sink clogged - called in the morning - he was here by 12:45 the same day. Totally professional - reasonable price - fixed the problem including replacing some of the pipes I messed up trying to fix it myself. $110 total, including all the parts and labor. Very fair, fast, good - what more could you ask for?

Our water heater had a leak which had managed to pool and form a white crust on the floor. We assumed the worst. Carl was prompt, courteous and diagnosed the problem right away as a leaky drain valve. He did not try and push a new water heater on us which were worried about. I was concerned about a funny smell after he had left and thought gas leak (I know, I know, I worry a lot). It turned out to be nothing but he came back anyway to check the valves at no extra charge. I appreciated the added service to ease my mind. I would highly recommend Carl for troubleshooting your plumbing needs.

Having had bad luck with two other plumbers (recommended by contractors), I looked to Yelp and chose Augusto based upon his recommendations. Two years ago we had our kitchen remodeled and the kitchen plumbing HAS LEAKED EVER SINCE. We called the original plumber back to fix it, and it still leaked. Then we called another plumber, and he didn't fix the problem, so I gave up on having it fixed and just put a pan under the leak . This week the small leak turned into a much bigger leak, so I tried Augusto. He was here in two hours and FIXED THE LEAK (it has been three days, so I know it is really fixed).

I chose Carl J. Augusto Plumbing based on the Yelp reviews I read and once again, you 'yelpers' didn't let me down.

Carl showed up exactly on time, was pleasant, professional and had my sink running clear within minutes. He also took a few extra minutes to fix my stopper and explained to me why I was having trouble clearing the drain myself. His time and expertise was well worth the $98.00 fee.

I would reccomend his services whole heartily.

Carl, Sr. is a gifted plumber, fast to fix an obvious problem, and patient enough to diagnose a tricky one. He doesn't give up. He's seen it all, fixed it all, and it won't cost you your whole paycheck.

Chipper and gregarious, his confident manner is reassuring. If there's ever a problem with his repair, he's back out immediately.

He's always busy, but seems to be able to work you in if you're having an emergency. He recently replaced my flooding water heater, and was hundreds of dollars less than the other guy.

Carl has worked on every conceivable problem in our neighborhood over the years, and has become our designated plumber in the process.
