I have used Augustine Plumbing in the past and they have always been reasonable, professional and friendly. The ladies who schedule service are friendly and professional. I had them come out today for a possible leak. Sean was able to determine the issue quickly! He also quickly fixed a couple of toilet issues and a hose bib explaining the easy fix! I highly recommend!

Had Mark from Augustine out to replace the tank hardware on several toilets in our townhome. He showed up a few min early, treated our home like it was his own, quickly and efficiently executed the job explaining helpful things to know and the rates for service were exceedingly fair. This was our second experience of excellent service/fair pricing with Augustine (Debbie at their HQ is awesome too) and this has made it official - they are going to be our go-to for any plumbing needs.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. The owner was the most unprofessional person I have ever talked to. He told me on the phone that having hot water is a luxury and we can live with no hot water for a week!!!! There is a lady who works as a secretary at the office and she was indeed very rude and not polite. Your no.1 goal as an admin is a customer relationship and her attitude on the phone was disgusting. Not sure why she still has a job there but after talking to the owner, I realized that's the whole company attitude. I notified the developer of our neighborhood and they are also not going to use their service in the future. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Excellent and honest service. Tradesman arrived on time, diagnosed the problem (leaky pipe feeding fire sprinkler system) and repaired all in less time than expected. Very professional and conscientious also. Could not have been better.

I'm willing to remove this review once my issue is resolved but currently I cannot recommend this company. They have been unresponsive to numerous phone calls so I am hoping that this review might motivate them to action. I had a new home with pipes installed by Augustine plumbing but their installation was incomplete. It eventually resulted in busted pipes and drywall damage to my home. So far I have only received bogus excuses and they have made no attempts to help us work towards a solution. I'll update this post if and when I get a response from the company.

I can only give the highest rating to Augustine Plumbing. I have had an issue with a sink clog and pop-up mechanism in my master bathroom for almost 3 weeks. I had initially contacted a larger, regional plumbing company that advertises all of the time on DC-area television to fix the problem. (I am happy to name this deficient, other plumbing company if asked.) Not only did this other company NOT fix the problem, they made it worse and caused water damage -- and charged me an arm and a leg to boot. Desperate, I contacted Augustine whose technician, Troy, came out this morning and completely fixed my plumbing issues in less than an hour. Troy was a gentleman -- and provided exactly the kind of service you'd expect. He also explained to me how to fix the problem myself in the future. And, Augustine charged me 3 TIMES LESS than this other, deficient competitor of theirs -- who basically price gouged me. Bottom line is that I will ONLY use Augustine for any plumbing issues I have in the future, for as long as I stay in the DC area. Many thanks to Troy, and Augustine Plumbing!

I wanted to move a water line and a drain line a few feet for a small project and got six or so quotes from various plumbers. Augustine's quote was very competitive, but what sold me was how competent the plumber, Steve, was. After seeing a few guys, you can tell which ones know what they are talking about and which ones sort of skate by the details - and Steve knows what he's talking about.

So I had Augustine Plumbing do the job and I'm very satisfied. Steve was on time, professional and did a great job. He didn't mind that I watched what he was doing, just since I find this stuff fun. He ran into a few issues and came up with solutions that I think lesser guys wouldn't have worked out so well.

If I ever have any plumbing needs in the future, I will save myself the time and call Steve from Augustine first. You should too.

I have a house built by Van Metre. They used a plumber named Augustine. My house is now about 7 years old. I am STILL finding and fixing problems caused by Augustine Plumbing.
Examples - removing clogs in internal water lines hot and cold. Having faucets that are not properly installed. Have had to replace multiple hose bibs (both internal and external. Replacing drywall from catastrophic plumbing installation failures - drain from kitchen sink leaked into basement. I could go on, but I won't I want to make it my job to ensure that Augustine Plumbing does not do below grade work any more. Today I had to replace the trap under a sink in the basement - a sink that is more than seldom used, but not overly used, some things should last like plumbing - Augustine I'd rather buy another home than use them to repair anything. Ever.

I had an appointment yesterday morning for our garbage disposal. I called the office around 9:00am-9:30am to find out the status of my appointment, and they told me he was currently in Arlington, VA and I would be next (Hyattsville, MD). By 11:00am, the technician (Sean) showed up. He took his shoes off before coming in the door, and immediately went to work. After a bit of troubleshooting, he determined the problem, and offered to replace it under warranty from one he had in the truck. The whole appointment took just over an hour. Sean was very professional and polite, and I would not hesitate to contact Augustine Plumbing again for any needs.

Today was the second time in two years that I used Augustine Plumbing for repair work in my home. They are prompt, courteous, efficient, and fairly priced. Sean took care of our latest work in a very professional manner. I will definitely call on them again when I need a plumber.
