On 10/8/2018 after a great deal of misinformation and scheduling chaos, their techs arrived a day before schedule at 7:30 AM, without their typical text and email alert message that they were on the way ( a useful communication). We were shocked as the reason for the original appointment was so my husband could be home from work. When I asked about this lack of notice and change it was blamed on their scheduler. This was the third such issue blamed on the same person. We had seen 3 representatives prior to these 2 techs. The first guy was a terrific tech, and his expertise sold us on the company although his visit was followed by two actual sales reps. The first guy was good, but days later a second guy called to say he had left the company. The third guy came and a contract was initiated. Then these two techs showed up unexpectedly. Problem was, after leaving all the product in pieces and driving away, a propane valve that had nothing at all to do with the job and went to a non-existent appliance, and was clearly labeled as such, was opened. We smelled gas in time to avoid a disaster. My husband called and demanded cancelation of the contract and the VP actually argued with him. This behavior was unbelievable, their attitude toward competence and professionalism needs a reality check. We could have lost more than just our home.

Just needed to let people know that I finally got my E119 code resolved...I hope, but it was not resolved by Auchinachie (the installer of my Baxi nightmare) After several years of futility with Auchinachie trying one thing after another with no improvement, a competitor came in and replaced the expansion tank. I had been having E119 failures almost every month, but haven't had one in five months.

In addition to this they have never offered to compensate me for the perfectly good indirect hot water heater they removed because ""I wouldn't need one"" only to suggest installing another one several months later to solve a ""cold water sandwich"" issue.

I did have a new heater installed at a significantly lower cost, but not by them and it did solve my ""cold water sandwich"" issue.

We called Auchinachie to inspect our central air unit as part of the process before closing our on house. For $100 they came out and cleaned the unit and said everything looked fine. After we move in to the house and turn the central air unit on for the first time, it does not work! We called Auchinachie again to come out and now they are saying it will cost us $2500 to fix! When we asked why this problem was not found in the original inspection, their excuse was ""that guy no longer does home visits because he is not good""! If this problem was found from the get go, the sellers of the home would have paid but instead we are out $2500! Not to mention they charged us another $100 on their second visit to reseal some places because ""the first guy did a bad job""! Why should we pay another $100 for you to fix something that your guy did poorly? I should have listened to the multiple people who said not to use Auchinachie - lesson learned!

I called Auchinachie to come and give my furnace at my new house a ""tune up"" since I was unsure of how long had it been before the funace was looked at. Since my furnace had seemed to me to be working fine, the technician, Rashad, said they would just do a tune up. Since he was there I've had nothing but problems. I'm not sure what he did but he did not change the filter and he left the nozzle very loose. The next day I saw a huge billow of black smoke coming from my chimney. I called the company back and they told me to tighten the nozzle which I wasn't comfortable doing. Another technician came back and realized that Rashad installed the wrong size nozzle. I was told I could have had a puff back or since oil was leaking into my furnace, I could've had a chimney fire. These technicians are very incompetent. They put my house and my family at risk. I do not recommend them at all!!!

Great technician and my furnace works pretty good now. Not the cheapest of the HVAC providers but good value for money.

The service provided was completed in a timely manner and I was very pleased with the results. A special shout out to Jimmy S who was processional and offered me options that worked for me. Thank you!

I had to call on Saturday for them to fix broken 1/2 copper water valve. They charged me $140 for a Saturday service charge then another $99 for a diagnostic fee. Then the kicker is a $395 service fee for an hour and 15 mins wort of work, with $15 worth of parts.

I'm just disgusted. Made an ""appointment"" for them to come out and look at my water treatment system. Was told mid morning. It's now 130 and I didn't even get a call. Called them and they told me it probably wouldn't be today and I can make arrangements for another day. Are you kidding me? I'm self employed and had to close shop to sit here all day waiting for them to NOT show up. Horrible. I'll be calling someone else.

Screwed me on the repair of the flapper job on my toilet. I'm a disabled senior citizen and have my 92 year old mother living with me. Their rep left me with no toilet for a 1/2h while he went to find a flapper, then when he can back, he said he fixed it, and when I checked it, I found it was still leaking only worse. And they refused to refund my money on the job completely, only agreed to cancel the service plan of $192.00 but still wanted their $106.00 for the service call and the part. Even though they didn't fix the problem. So I had to call another plumber in town to fix the problem. Worse plumbing company in Binghamton!!

I was charged $246 for Auchinachie to come to my house and look at a furnace that would not turn on. The technician was very nice but he could not get the unit to turn on/stay on to even service it. I was told it needed at least $1200 worth of repairs or to be replaced completely. A friend recommended another company, this technician was able to get the furnace up and running in 5 minutes. Unfortunately the unit needs to be replaced completely but this company only charges $78 for the same services. I was willing to pay the $100 Auchinachie charges just to step foot in your house, but was denied a refund for the rest. At the very least, way overpriced.
