dave is an absolute pleasure to work with! not only did he answer his phone and call back when he said he would, but he showed up on time and was quick to get the job done right. he even took the time to look at and fix another issue that i forgot to mention on my initial call. i have definitely found my go-to plumber in town and it is dave!
Sara B.Excellent service. We're so thankful for Mr. Shawl and his crew!! We've been using them for several years. They're like family and we can trust them to take the best care of our situation. Friendly, reliable, reasonable and competent.
Excellent. They helped me fix my garbage disposal using a hex key (allen) wrench over the telephone! Saved me a house call.
Dustin O.Good service, very prompt. Took care of toilet and leaking washer and dryer. Thank you
The owner told me he would be here first thing in the morning. Ended up being over an hour late. And his worker came in smelling of alcohol and his eyes were blood shot. Very unprofessional
Dave was able to schedule his crew for the same morning I called for a blocked sewer line. The guys were great, arrived on time, were professional, polite, and did an awesome job! Price was very reasonable. Super happy with Auburn Plumbing, will definitely call again.
Doug H.Dave is possibly the most professional, customer service oriented service provider I have hired or worked with, and as a practicing real estate professional over the years I have met many. He made extra efforts to complete the job quickly and efficiently when my water heater broke down. He returned nearly a year later to make repairs without charging me. He returned my phone call within an hour when I wanted information about a plumbing repair on my home, and he explained what he did clearly and without reservation. As long as he is around, I will hire only him to do the job.
After reading reviews we were confident in having Dave come out. But, in short, he underestimated the job and was missing essential tools. We paid him and was left with work unfinished.
We needed him to repair 2 leaky drains, detach a broken copper pipe, and install the shower handheld. All of this we communicated over the phone before he came over.
2 trips and $300 later the only thing that was completed was the copper pipe removal. We had to have him come out again because drains were still leaking.
Initially he told us not to buy new drains and he would try to remedy w new washers because it would be $80+ per drain to replace and he wanted to save us the expense. After 2 attempts he blamed the drains and then refused to finish the job until we purchased something different. We have looked everywhere and not been able to find anything to match, so we haven't expected him to help us with the drains any further.
He gave us a verbal agreement that he would still install the handheld. But when I called today to follow up w that he said he refuses to ""finish a job he didn't start"". So, his decision changed...? We totally understand a plumber not wanting to ""clean up"" a plumbing disaster but he should have said that from the start.
I said the only thing we feel like he did was take the copper pipe out and it cost us $300 and he said ""I spent over 4 hours"". He was actually only in our house 1 1/2-2 hours total. If he had thought to use the right tool the first visit, it would have saved him A LOT of time. The second visit he spent a long time looking for said tool and couldn't find it so he had to drive to the hardware store and come back. We're not sure why we are responsible for all that time? He also spent quite a bit of time telling us about all his jobs and how busy he is. We don't share this this to come across as condescending, but if time is his justification for the price...all that unorganized time cost us, not him.
Maybe this was just a very unorthodox service call for him, but we are very disappointed and as a result will not be using his services again.
Dave's guys came out for two different plumbing needs for my house I was flipping. Excellent work. Worth every penny! Will use again for sure.
My husband and I are new homeowners and were very stressed when our plumbing backed up. Dave came over even though he doesn't normally work weekends. He snaked the drain, then used the scope camera to identify the problem to help us understand why it backed up and possible options for the future to keep it from happening again. He was so helpful and simply amazing! Thank you so much Dave!
